  1. You specifically brought up the Packers defense. The post I made in response was entirely about the Packers defense. I have no clue where you're getting anything about the Vikings defense. If you're a Darnold believer good for you. Might as well pull a CamWhoaaCam and shamelessly hop on the bandwagon.
  2. So they're roughly middle of the pack in passing but have a really good run D and they're opportunistic with turnovers. They've improved from last season no doubt but they have also given up a lot of points to both the Lions and Vikings this season both of which have formidable passing offenses. Yeah they're going to have their hands full in the playoffs.
  3. Didn't Bryce Young have his coming out game last season against the Packers defense? Get real man.
  4. We're desperate for even vague competitiveness and a hint of playoff hopes so Baker and Sam look like Brees and Brady to us but like I said above I'll be surprised if they go far in the playoffs. If you watch them play you can still see glimpses of the same QB's and how they will fair against stout teams with playoff experience will tell us where they really are.
  5. Ultimately I think there's a good chance sooner or later we are going to see the full spectrum of both Mayfield and Darnold in the playoffs against much tougher competition. That is the good the bad and the ugly.
  6. Might as well head to the Jets and Browns message boards and clown them because they let Darnold and Mayfield go.
  7. You have no posting history to look back on through literally years of suckage but you want to be indignant toward others. I see nothing but a coward but you do you.
  8. You've got a whole lot to say for someone that less than three weeks ago was upset your Bryce Young takes were getting blowback.
  9. The question becomes will he want to stay here? If Thielen can be as useful as he has been here at his age then we should absolutely be scouring the FA WR list in the offseason. Certainly there's another veteran in there that can contribute similarly.
  10. Don't even try this revisionist history slop. Sam Darnold showed more flashes than Baker Mayfield here but both were hot and cold at best and had some truly horrendous turnover filled games all circumstances aside. To act like it was only a few people who criticized them is ridiculous. Furthermore you joined a whole 4 months ago. You and I both know you've been here before that so what was your last account so we can dig up your takes on Sam and Baker? Don't hide now you opened this can of worms.
  11. I agree with what you're saying in principle. We should have these conversations and they shouldn't be entirely slanted as negativity it's just a blunt assessment with long term expecations in mind because it involves the most consequential position on the roster like you said. None of us know Bryce's ceiling for sure but without a doubt next season has to be the big jump all circumstances aside. I hope to see it. If not then we keep looking.
  12. Both Baker and Sam got humbled mightily here and that has gone a lonnnnng way for them in their overall development to this point. With how poorly managed we continue to be I don't see them being the same QB here. We ruin everything.
  13. Oh wow I saw the score but didn't check on the actual game. Who the hell is Tanner McKee? 3 passing touchdowns between two jag backups. Overall I agree with you. And given what we invested in our OL in the offseason it is absolutely pitiful we have found ourselves maxing out at 14 points more often than not.
  14. Eager to see the OL grades after this one.
  15. I hope we don't try to get cute and start trading up with any of these additional picks. Just let the draft fall to us.
  16. Meanwhile the Giants drop 45 points including 5 touchdowns from Lock and a 100 yard return from a WR we dumped.
  17. Rewind to camp and our defense was playing so well against Bryce and company we actually thought they might be good.
  18. Kicking in the NFL isn't what it used to be teams seem to change kickers fairly often the guys who are rock solid on the same team for years and years are very rare. But from my perspective we definitely seem to be one of the few teams that it just isn't clicking for. Other teams generally don't seem to be this inept in this area. I had forgot Eddie had the fuging audacity to try and skip OTA's for an extension and we are keeping him around for no reason in what has long been a lost season anyways. Why is he still here? Send this dude out of town on a rail already.
  19. There's much to unpack here. I think Canales has faults and we'll have plenty of time in the offseason to dissect that. But this roster on the defensive side of the ball is total ass and that's ultimately on the GM. We put all our eggs in the offense basket to the tune of 150 million free agency dollars and 1st and 2nd round picks. And other than the crappy Raiders and Cardinals overall through the season we have maxed out at comical scoring levels. I mean we went to overtime against the truly terrible Giants with 17 points and Daniel Jones was trying to give the game away. Today was just more of the same.
  20. This passing offense maxing out at 14 points is more than just a talent issue. Someone needs to be sent to the shadow realm for this poo.
  21. 41 points and still the 4th quarter to play lol just drop a 50 burger
  22. I've seen this talked about. You could be right. But we really are also devoid of talent and need to address that then we can further assess down the line.
