  1. Based on what info? Why do people try so hard to distance Fitterer from the 2021 season? He is either a yes man hired to be Rhule's lackey or he was heavily involved with the process and all our moves last year. Which one do you think it is? It can't be both.
  2. Only walking away with one kind of dings the dynasty label though no? By that logic the Seahawks could say the same. Winning this one would certainly help though.
  3. I like Joe Burrow and it would be good for the league to see another young quarterback reach his first Super Bowl in his second season. And let's be honest Chiefs fans are getting a little insufferable now talking like a dynasty.
  4. Haha you're right I could have sworn they did. Still better than this dumpster fire either way. Hey at least we still have our "culture" to fall back on
  5. Is it even a question? We were worse than the Falcons and they fired their head coach. The Saints and Bucs are unknowns at this point but they still have talent and we have... Matt Rhule. Every now and again I think about the Panthers and the changes in the South and get a tad hopeful. But then I am reminded we have a decision maker at the helm who thought it was a good idea to bet the house on a failed QB without even watching his game film. Yikes.
  6. Of course they matter. But as we have seen they can be neutralized and the calls we have seen seem to lean more and more toward offenses the last few seasons and the best teams are taking note. Until that changes offensive skill positions are going to be the most sought after and the Panthers would be wise to follow suit. We have done the defensive identity route for a quarter of a century and we have zero back to back winning seasons to show for it. Perhaps it's time to shift to the other side of the ball.
  7. This is said pretty much every year. You folks who don't want a QB under any circumstances would be best served to avoid draft talk for the next few months because watching three years of Kyle Allen Teddy Bridgewater and Sam Darnold guarantees it will be under heavy consideration like it or not.
  8. Most people just laugh at his attempts to carry water for a billionaire and feel sorry for him. You however have these meltdowns and weaponize the poo reaction and throw a tantrum when people don't praise you. All you need to do is logout more and not let this team consume you. Good luck with that.
  9. We got the Pacers at the right damn time that's for sure. Thanks Indiana.
  10. Is this that numbers conspiracy guy? He and BurnNChinn both need a therapist.
  11. He had 8 passing touchdowns in 15 games that year. He hasn't had 20 or more passing touchdowns since 2018. I hate it too but that's reality. You need to find someone to talk to and move on from all that fella.
  12. I can't for the life of me understand banging the table for a corner after watching these recent playoff games. If the goal is to compete with the best it's your offense that is going to have to get it done. The league has clearly shifted. Yes there are some very good corners that still command respect but in general nobody in the NFL is losing sleep over one and people really need to bring themselves out of the 90's and 2000's and into the 2020's.
  13. Sadly Jameis would be an upgrade over Darnold
  14. CB not a luxury for us? We tripled down at the position last year as our oline eroded into the worst in the league and our quarterbacks had immediate pressure in the interior of the line. I guess people just want something to talk about but that made me burst out laughing.
  15. Raptors are hitting everything Hornets putting up hero shots and barely playing defense. Looking like this one is already over. I know it's an empty arena and we're missing a few guys but yikes these low effort games make me think even if we get in the playoffs they'll put up another stinker like this.
  16. It's this year or next for sure. But if I'm being honest I simply do not trust the Panthers to not screw up their draft position. We had the chance for a top 3 pick in 2019 2020 and 2021 and we won extra games that didn't even matter. That mythical first rounder in 2023 that folks keep making plans with already is definitely not guaranteed and we all know it.
  17. With this and Brady retiring we should be in great position. Too bad we don't have a quarterback.
  18. If the Panthers draft another corner at 6...
  19. Common sense thing to do is keep the first rounders and draft our own QB and build around him. Those rookie deals for quarterbacks are very valuable.
  20. He'll be 33 this summer. It isn't healthy to still be clinging to this dream.
  21. I get the OT rules complaints but the Bills defense was atrocious those last few drives. They wouldn't get past the Bengals playing like that. But Burrow is going to drop some dimes on that KC defense.
