We have 30m right now. Everyone is forgetting the cap is probably increasing 20 mil or so. Then there is always an easy 5-10 million in cuts. So probably looking at 55 million. Minus 8 for draft picks. 47 million. minus Gilmore and Reddick (15 mil a piece roughly) Gives us 17 million. So still broke. Might be the smartest move to only resign Reddick OR Gilmore if we want to fix the OL.

No. Although I agree Sam and Baker are very similar in talent and even appearance. I wouldn’t trade an 8 for Baker but I also wouldn’t used the 8 for Sam. The 16+range? Maybe. I would use the 8th on Pickett. That’s Justin Herbert all day.

Right. Get to the playoffs and then it’s a new season. Getting to the playoffs is the biggest thing. I would take being the 7th seed 4 out of 5 years than being the #1 seed 2 out of 5 years.
