I'm expecting him to get more work at kick returner with those new rules than actual targets in the passing game.

Bootleg Football 2024 Panthers breakdown
Jackie Lee replied to Jackie Lee's topic in Carolina Panthers
They were surprisingly high on our draft picks, although it seems like they also thought Wallace was a reach yet Sanders was a steal, almost could have swapped the spots they were picked. -
Call me crazy, but we might have improved the pass rush after all

They obviously focused on stopping the run, if that's effective they would have more opportunities at 3rd and long pass rushes. Evero also is willing to send like 5,6,7 dudes on a blitz when he gets the chance. I'm not expecting any one player to consistently pressure the qb off the edge though -

They didn't waste too much time saying Tepper should step out of the way and just write the checks lol. -

Looks like XL will be ready to go, unless he tweaks it again doing this kinda poo

I do find it insulting to the fan base to not even challenge the qb position at all after what we watched last season. They literally put zero effort into the qb3 position

I mean look at the Browns or Jets for being due a decent qb lol. Not to mention we already tried a couple of their first round pick busts instead of just drafting one of the successful 2020 guys when we had Teddy as a bridge. We're not really due considering we had a couple years head start on the NFC South "rebuilds" and completely fuged that up numerous times

I'll stick to the free websites until I can actually manage to sit through an entire game

He says "We have some talent, in spots" and "There's a reason we were 2-15". Speaks on the importance of quality depth for the good Seattle years and that we have a ways to go in that department

Interesting his timeline goes Geno's story, Baker's story, Panther's story...then focuses on the vet players we currently have

Very good 5 minutes in. Definitely a different side of him, not pulling out the rah rah cliche stuff, just talking about his life journey

It goes all the way back to skipping on Trey Smith in the 2021 draft. Make better draft decisions and you don't have to make all these desperate trades
