  1. Agree with this statement but not the one below which directly contradicts it: I will say Bryce needs a serviceable LT or we might as well cut him now because he isn't making it through the season. After we replace the starting LT, it is time to spend some draft capital and free agency money on the D.
  2. Not sure he is in the top ten but: His 9.99 RAS score, second among 1,512 tackles since 1987, isn't a gimmick. You see every bit of that explosiveness translate to the field when he kicks and slides in pass sets. NFLDraftBuzz
  3. Horrible first pick. A 25 year old lightweight edge w/ short arms? Those picks also demand a quality LT in FA. Who would that be?
  4. Not drafting oline on a regular basis is crazy. It has five regular positions. More than any other position and will make or break your team. Morgan was in a tough position, but he made it worse with his first draft.
  5. Played w/ Evero in Denver in '22. This one makes sense if the price is right. Then go Oline, ILB, Oline in the draft. Morgan has yet to draft an offensive lineman. Crazy.
  6. ...and here i was being negative lol. You are right though. It could be much worse.
  7. The tag for '26 is 28M. No way they tag him. He is projected to be worth around 60M for 3 years so they could still try to sign him on an extension for about that amount: JagsWire As someone else mentioned, the tag average factors in outside linebackers, aka, edge rushers, in the line backer formula. If they would distinguish between olb and ilb, the ilb would get a lot less.
  8. Who exactly is going to start at left tackle for us from FA or the draft? Rasheed Walker is the best FA and is expected to command a four year 85M deal with a lot guaranteed, and we have to fight other teams for him. We already have the most expensive line in the NFL. That playoff game really screwed us pushing us back to pick 19 and costing us a franchise LT. Dan Morgan will have to earn his money this offseason because i have no idea how we fill all of our holes.
  9. Proctor scares me. Higher ceiling but also lower floor. He won't be ready to play LT early. Would have to let him play RT and Moton at LT to start i think. He's a 5.1 forty at 366 pounds. The man is a building that can move. Just not sure on quick lateral moves.
  10. USA Today has us last. NFC South Tampa Bay Buccaneers: +125 New Orleans Saints: +360 Atlanta Falcons: +375 Carolina Panthers: +380 2025 results:Panthers (8-9), Buccaneers (8-9), Falcons (8-9), Saints (6-11)
  11. Exactly. It make no sense to pick up the fifth year AND spend 50M on what? At best, a qb competition where each competitor is making 25M+ or at worst a 25M+ backup. The team that overspends for him will be expecting him to start.
  12. I think the best case scenario is him missing a significant part of 2026 season. The Coons are going to hate watching the Rams pick at 13 with so many studs with no character issues available.
  13. Regression to the mean causes Tepper to give up on Bryce. Six wins and we get the number seven draft pick and take Brendan Sorsby Texas Tech QB.
  14. Will this mean the Jets take Ty Simpson at #16? I don't think their current roster has a Frank Reich tall gunslinger stay in the pocket type at qb currently. Then again, Simpson may not be that either.
  15. The Big Lead. Man that is a lot of our opponents (7 out of 10) on the top ten easiest schedules.
  16. My bad. Brain fart. Agree if we get Mauigoa at 19 (we won't though) we should go D. Meant someone at LB at that point. I agree that not getting an Edge early means we aren't improving much by taking one 3 or later.
  17. No. 2 had to be LaFleur. No way they take Evero and a first round qb. He was a Rooney Rule no. 2.
  18. Love the first pick but wasn't there a left tackle instead of a guy who is more of a 4-3 DE?
  19. He won't be a security blanket unless he can play left tackle and protect Bryce's blind side. LT has to be addressed in FA or 1st or 2nd pick. TE is a luxury we can't afford right now.
  20. He is only under contract through 2026 and won't be playing any in that year so we won't really know the extent of his injury recovery before we must give him a new contract. That means we are in a really tough spot. That also probably means we have to use our no. 1 on LT. I think there are four legit round one left tackle talents (Fano, Mauigoa, Proctor, and Lomu). I think it would be risky to wait for round 2 (Tiernan or Freeling) but we could roll the dice and move Moton over to LT while the new guy gets his feet under him. I do not see how we could possibly not use one of the first two picks on a LT.
