  1. I'm not. I'm pointing out how stupid the Corral haters are. There was never a good reason to cut him, but I bet you wanted that.
  2. But this board says Corral can't be developed and will just take snaps away from Young. Strange.
  3. Who knows how good he could have been since he was obviously held up by bad qbs, but it makes sense to go get a good wr in the draft on a rookie deal. I think having a lot of different options at wr might be better for Bryce than having a true #1 since he is so good reading the field and finding open guys. You have a true #1 wr and then a drop off and the other team has a true #1 cb to neutralize him.
  4. Saying that anyone who wants Corral to do well is a "groupie" is dumb. He's a member of the team and could turn out to be be a quality backup or trade material. He does have a 185 lbs qb and a 35 year old qb in front of him. Maybe he ends up being needed.
  5. And if the rule isn't changed and Corral is cut, someone really has some explaining to do on why we drafted him in the first place. People like to blame Rhule for everything now but there is no reason he would have wanted to trade down to obtain a developmental qb when his ass was on the hot seat. And don't tell me Rhule thought a late third round qb pick was going to buy him more time (already heard that from someone on here).
  6. Yeah i think it's just the camera angle and the fact that Corral is in the foreground. One thing to remember about all these pics is that the camera angle and position of players can make them seem taller or shorter than they really are. People making fun of Young because he looks small in one picture behind our line are idiots.
  7. Most people don't break a foot by just running.
  8. Desmond Ridder showed improvement last year. I hope the Coons didn't win the '22 draft w/ a third round draft pick at qb. They will be one dimensional early w/ a lot of run game. We should hit 8 or 9.
  9. Romo always sounds like he has phlegm in his throat. Drives me crazy. Greg Olsen sounds like his balls haven't dropped yet.
  10. Drake London. He had to deal with terrible qbs last year, but he will be a good one.
  11. They have a stud wr, rb and te. Some people thought highly of Desmond Ridder. He did get better during his four starts, but I doubt he ends up as a quality NFL starter. More likely the shine wears off over the course of the season and they are back to trying to find a qb.
  12. I feel pretty good about Atl, Tampa, and Houston being bad. Doubt Chi, Indy, and Saints turn in to world beaters over night.
  13. Would really love to screw the Bears w/ a crappy first rounder next year.
  14. So far i've seen 7,7, 8,9,8. I'm going 9-8.
  15. I think Bryce's athleticism is pretty good and as someone pointed out, although he doesn't have a cannon, he does have all the throws needed. He's not a Lamar Jackson/Jalen Hurts level runner, but I would rather have an accurate qb than either of those guys. We just need him to run enough to find throwing lanes and extend plays not to get yardage.
  16. This was a great draft pick. I think it's pretty clear he is the best of last year's Charles Cross and Evan Neal OT group. I am pretty happy to have a rookie of his quality. They will clean up his pass blocking. The athleticism he needs to be good is there, he just needs some experience and coaching. He is an absolute road grader run blocker already.
  17. Yeah, mediocre qb or injury prone rb anyone? We just traded CMC; don't need the jv version of that back. Sounds like the clear consensus was Bryce Young no. 1. Houston blew it.
  18. Yeah, that draft was an A; Fitterer reached for every single player except Bryce.
  19. So did everyone not named Andy Reed who is being honest. There are a whole lot more busts than diamonds.
  20. I'm not buying it. He was going into year three, and the thought a third round qb was going to buy him more time? Best case scenario for Corral was sit for a year and learn and that was all the more evident w/ Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold on the roster.
  21. Why would Matt Rhule want a developmental qb in his make or break firing year? Someone told him to make that pick. Also, why does Mingo have trouble with vertical separation when he runs a 4.46 40? I agree that Fitterer is a poor drafter with a lot of waster during his tenure.
