  1. Was an AWESOME watch. Incredibly well done, lots of surprising insight & access, and just all around excellent content.
  2. High: Jeremy Chinn. I've been waiting for the Panthers to have impact player at the safety position ever since the long lost days of Mike Minter. Not only is Jeremy Chinn an athletic freak, he's incredible driven and appears to desire to be greater than great. He's doing all of the right things so far, including an explosive rookie season. I can't wait to see how he looks at his natural position on the back end. Low: Troy Pride Jr. If there was a rookie starter that looked the part of a rookie last season, it was Troy Pride Jr. While this was understandable given the tempered expectations for a 4th round selection further complicated by a COVID-19 impacted offseason and a new coaching staff also getting acclimated to the NFL, Pride was clearly in over his head during his 529 snaps where he piled up just 2 pass deflections and 42 tackles. Given the disappointment that was Eli Apple and the toe turf that plagued Donte Jackson last season, it wasn't exactly like Troy was set up for success during his first year. Hopefully with the addition of Jaycee Horn and AJ Abouye, Pride and STO3 will get a year to truly develop should they make the team. Fence: David Moore. The other Moore declined a little bit last season, and with the additions of Terrace Marshall Jr & Shi Smith in the draft that makes three (possibly four) roster spots filled at WR. Brandon Zylstra is a valued member of the special teams, so another spot will likely go to him. Should both of the draft picks make the roster, that leaves Omar Bayless, Micah Simon, Keith Kirkwood, Marken Michel, Ishmael Hyman, and Ventell Bryant to compete with the other Moore. With the team seemingly in Year 0.5 of the rebuild, they might opt to go with a developmental youth prospect over the veteran presence in Moore (especially since Robby Anderson already fulfills that veteran role). Kirkwood and Bayless could beat Moore out for that spot based on those factors, but the team could also opt to roll with 5 WRs if they feel confident in the current group.
  3. A good friend of mine that owns a couple of restaurants in Charlotte lost his 6yr old daughter last year from the same issue that TJ Olsen currently suffers from. Fingers crossed for the Olsen & Yang families.
  4. Projected starters: Moton (RT), Paradis (C), Miller (RG), Elflein (LG) Christensen, Erving, Scott are all not only competing for LT but have enough position flexibility to make the roster. Inject more youth with Deonte Brown + David Moore while keeping Dennis Daley over Greg Little due to aforementioned position flexibility. I'm not so much excited for this year's OL as much as I am the following season's. I'm excited to see Christensen, Moore, Elflein, Brown, Moton if things pan out
  5. So... Purdue is QB U?
  6. How was the thread not locked after this absolute banger of a first response?
  7. Hurney being gone, Fitterer's draft day approach, Snow's gelling defense, and plenty more give tons of reasons to be optimistic! Also having some of the more reactionary fans being forced to hit the reset button on themselves is always a welcome occurrence every offseason.

  10. I don't recall ever being this excited for 6th round selections. Deonte Brown & Shi Smith? What a haul.
  11. Marshall to replace Robbie next season, Shi Smith to be take Curtis Samuel's old role on the offense if he can supplant David Moore? OH LAWD
  12. I wanted the team to walk out of this draft with a RG. I was super high on Trey Smith and Deonte Brown. So stoked we got Deonte in the 6th omg
  13. Didn't expect either pick but am happy with both. Nixon is great value in the 5th for one of the better 3-techs and while I expect that they wanted Johnson before he went two picks sooner, the selection of Taylor tells me that they're aware that they're going to need a platoon of coverage guys to cover all of the weapons in the NFC South
  14. The fact that the Panthers could potentially have their choices of Trey Smith/Deonte Brown and Dylan Moses/Cameron McGrone in the 5th is insane to me
  15. Trey Smith, Deonte Brown, David Moore, Dylan Moses, Cameron McGrone, and Jamar Johnson all still on the board along with a slew of WRs, RBs, and EDGE prospects. Let's gooooo!!!
  16. So stoked. Plenty of good players still on the board with plenty of draft picks to go and get them if necessary or sit and collect should they continue to fall :3
  17. ALL HAIL SCOUTT FINESSER I hope that means that the team is looking to use one or two of those three 6th round picks to move that 5th up into the 4th to scoop up two of those players that he's talking about Then use the final 6th pick on whoever is left on the board?
  18. SO fuging GOOD Walked in with two picks. Walked out with three players, an extra 5th, and a 2022 4th from Houston. The 3 players? A beast of a WR, an LT/LG, and a TE/FB. Rhule is also saying that there are multiple players that the team has 2nd/3rd round grades on that are available still. I'm hoping to see that 5th and a 6th or two used to move up and grab at least two of them.
