Anybody else watching? I've got a nice little routine on Fridays where I have the fights on one monitor and work on the others. MMA roster isn't exactly the greatest but they have some impressive muay Thai guys under contract. Today's card above. I don't think I've had a bad one yet in the last 2mo. There was a nasty KO earlier where the fighter's head hit the back of the mat hard and had to be stretchered out (clip below). Fight right after that one has been a three round war with both fighters standing in the phone booth and just eating elbows + body shots. The Thai crowd in Lumpinee has been awesome tonight (and tbh, they've been awesome every week). We've seen him flat out deny video presented to him in regards to other issues, just like this one. It has definitely gotten to the point of denial, or delusion, whichever you'd prefer.

Starting to wonder how many people here have been on functioning teams in any capacity whether it be in sports, at work, or in their own home... Like, yea, my supervisor is who I report to but I got on-the-job training from my teammates. I'd go to my boss and get direction when I had questions, but I also went to my teammates first with those questions. Not having the consistency of AT in the locker room is a negative that the team seems to be hoping to offset with the positives that are the increase opportunities for their young WRs. This is also good for Bryce, because it's going to challenge him to elevate + lead those guys, while also bad because he loses his most reliable target from the last two seasons. The move happened. Now we're in "hurry up and wait" mode to see what the results will end up being over the course of the season.

Conked out during the 1st quarter of the Cinci game. Seeing Boise State get belt-to-ass + the ECU/NC St (and the 60hr work week I've had) took a lot out of me. I am not ready for the feels I'm going to experience on Saturday during Corso's last show.

Best sports pod bar none. The Chris Long/Nate Collins episode this week was fun. They gave poor Jalen Hell for that Super Bowl.

He straight up says multiple times throughout the episode that he was an "angry child" and has calmed down a lot after the league. Like, yea, he was cocky but the amount of players that make the NFL that aren't are relatively slim. He hated Steve Spurrier because Spurrier would talk grimey to people and even told a story about how a teammate requested help with overcoming addiction and the very next day they tested and booted him. He acknowledged that he was a good coach but that he didn't like him as a person. Spurrier told him that he needed to carry himself more like Lattimore, not the ball. My dawg, I get that you're down on the team and anything that isn't Clemson, but at this point it's coming across that you're willfully dismissing facts in favor of a chosen narrative whether it's regarding Bryce, the Teppers, Canales, or now Mike Davis.

It's really, really strange how much I'm seeing folks down on Bryce repeating "NO EXCUSES!" for his failures while having nothing but excuses to try and invalidate his successes.

Very fair point re: when all 3 were playing at the same time. Quick count of weeks 1, 2, 12 - 15, 17, and 18 (AT out 4 - 10, XL out 14, Bryce out three as well (3, 4, 6), week 11 was a bye) actually came out to AT 51, XL 46 over that period. AT was definitely Bryce's most reliable WR, but it wasn't like the ball was being forced to Thielen at the expense of XL's development. EDIT: Got curious about Coker and the only game that AT + XL + Coker were on the field together were vs. DAL, @TB, and @ATL. Targets for those three games totaled out to for 19 for AT, 17 for XL, 15 for Coker. Those AT numbers are going to likely go predominantly to TMac

XL led the team in targets by 20+ last season. While AT was the more reliable (and productive) WR last season, he really wasn't force fed like some of the Bryce haters want to believe.

I've got him on ignore, but if I happen to see his histrionics being quoted and see the usual personal attacks I go and give it the poo it deserves. If it bothers him that much he could try being less unpleasant, or put me on ignore as a mod requested. At the very least, he could stop insulting others just because he's not capable of understanding and accepting any scenario other than the one he feels validates him. Rhule-wise... Teddy tried to warn us. People wanted to hate him because he wasn't Cam though. Mike Davis, in the same episode, was highly complimentary of how former players are treated by the team. That was cool to hear.

There was an article previously posted that highlighted how Canales morphed his offense over the course of the season to better fit Bryce.
