  1. Thank god they are playing the young guys more, something to look forward to this season and I'm liking the early returns. They will still have weaknesses but it'll be better than last year at least.
  2. Reading that goes good with my coffee
  3. If true that Renfrow is filling in for the Thielen role then they haven't had any time to develop chemistry with reps in practice. Bryce and AT had 3 years of reps under their belt with each other, we traded AT right before the season started and thrust Renfrow in there. That's not a 1:1 substitution at all, reps matter, that's the short term pains I mentioned with trading Thielen. Maybe they will get to that level but they definitely aren't there yet. I could see it flourishing the second of the season, you can already see a little bit of a connection brewing.
  4. Our O-Line was clearly built to be a run-blocking unit but has also clearly been a better pass-blocking unit this season, no clue what to make of that. Mike Jackson was a great trade by Dan Morgan, he's grown nicely into CB2 role. Chau Smith Wade also been awesome for a 5th round pick. Latham Ransom
  5. We have zero deep threat WRs right now. We aren't going to see many bombs until either XL steps up into a deep threat role or we get someone who can actually do it. The game clearly didn't call for any of that yesterday either, Bryce did all he needed to do to see out a win. I'm fine with that.
  6. This is a sad, sad football game
  7. Why? So we can watch him try to catch it one handed again? Lol kidding, I don’t get it either.
  8. Good game from everyone today really, Falcons didn’t even get off the bus.
  9. I'm not sure he would even pass a physical. His hip injury has completely ruined his career. But the answer is no.... I would be extremely unhappy if he somehow settled on Tua of all people.
  10. Just pointing out how ridiculous you sounded making that sorry, of course being an NFL starter isn't end all be all. Glad you made a mountain out of a mole hill.
  11. Dollar Tree Sam Howell yet he's starting in the league and Sam Howell isn't? Sound analysis my friend.
  12. Jake Delhomme literally took us to a Super Bowl.............
  13. Agreed. Maybe we get lucky and its a Jake Delhomme 2.0 situation where the Saints move to another QB and we can sign or trade for him because he wants to be a starter. Then we just have a fun gunslinger again which would be a nice change of pace. But I fear he might end up meshing well with Kellen Moore in NO and they might be smart for once and just draft for the roster.
  14. Yeah it's crazy, and why I wanted to draft him even though I knew they never would do that for political reasons in house. Could've really done the Josh Rosen thing and just admitted a mistake after year 1 and at least drafted a backup. One of my better predictions was thinking Spencer Rattler is going to make an NFL franchise very happy, especially with the low cost of his pick. Arm has always popped off the screen despite his mistake-prone play.
  15. The Saints keep trying to replace Spencer Rattler, if they do that this offseason in the draft, I would be trading for him immediately. Guy has an NFL arm and continuing to develop. Has flashed these first two games this year.
  16. I saw that, that wasn't XL's fault for sure. My comment was about his college tape though, he does not run north south at all in these types of plays.
  17. I don't like much about this team BUT WE ARE GONNA WIN THIS THING BABY LETS GOOOOOOO
  18. Someone on X cut up all of his touches in college that were screens and handoffs and his reluctance to just cut up the doggone field is staggering. Constantly bouncing outside into nothingness.
  19. We stink but the next 5 games are winnable. It’ll dictate our season cause the second half looks a lot harder.
  20. Smarter football people than me pointed out that Baker was a horrendous fit for a Ben Mcadoo doo offense. By the way, that guy is senior defensive assistant for the Eagles now, that's how badly Rhule was searching the bottom of the barrel for a one year OC.
  21. Something to learn from these QBs, there's an option to build our roster & org first, then find a QB when it's at least an average unit. These college QBs are awful when they come into the NFL, it's clearer than ever that there's just no need to learn coverages or read defenses in college. So you let them go fail for another organization, then when they are "done" with them (because they failed them), you can go grab them for pennies on the dollar and they'll be productive for you because they'll actually know how to operate the position at an NFL level. Current crop of QBs that are trending to "bust" territory that we can target: CJ Stroud, Spencer Rattler, Trevor Lawrence, Anthony Richardson, Will Levis, Trey Lance
  22. That whole play is bizarre, it's ultimately on Bryce to just dump it to Chuba there, but like wtf are those routes?
