  1. Thielen is primarily a slot receiver https://www.pff.com/news/pro-thielen-getting-majority-of-minnesota-slot-wr-work-in-preseason Chark is a primarily an X https://www.si.com/nfl/lions/news/what-lions-are-getting-in-dj-chark-jr
  2. WR1, 2, 3 are fantasy terms not types. X, y, etc are roles. Some play multiple roles but the roles have general characteristics. Like the different techniques played by defensive lineman and the player characteristics that fit them. There's plenty of info online about this if you want to read about it in detail
  3. Instead of being identical to Eddie Piniero.
  4. Chasing the next Mahomes and trying to copy that sounds like a terrible idea. But Im starting to understand that it's the occasional fancy throw people are enamored with.
  5. Nothing whatsoever wrong with a Mayfield comparison. Mayfield was more productive though with better completion percentage and passer rating and a little bit more of a downfield passer than Young is.
  6. Fitterer said Evero doesn't run a tru 3/4 and the guys he added were exactly the types of bodies he wanted for his gap and a half front. Tuttle is bigger than his NT from Denver or from Rams the year prior. We still have McCall who is prototypical NT size
  7. Like I mentioned the other day. Fields and Stroud are the only two pros/prospects that played for Day at Ohio State. Stroud the only one recruited by him. There's no real relevance to anything before Coach Day.
  8. I hopefully professional designers do better than these suggestions posted in here.
  9. Yes. Teams have multiple receivers. All of them
  10. When will people learn that WR1, 2, 3 aren't positions. They are fantasy terms. Learn about x, y slot to understand the dynamics of how wide receivers work together
  11. The chances of drafting anyone who will displace Hurst or Thielen/Chark as #1s is slim to nothing. That's why they are here
  12. I've searched for 20 minutes to find the thread stating the salary cap isn't real....search sucks here https://sports.yahoo.com/kevin-demoff-rams-always-knew-214054512.html#:~:text=Demoff wrote in a letter,to employ that strategy indefinitely. The Rams sent a letter to season ticket holders explaining how their cap situation will affect this season and near future approach. "During the trade deadline this past year, it was clear that in a new era where teams were willing to be as aggressive as we were that we had neither the draft capital nor the salary cap space to win trade conversations and be able to take on top players at the salaries they would command. As a result, we faced a choice this offseason. We could once again restructure contracts to give ourselves one last shot with our core roster but that would mean a total rebuild would be necessary over the next few seasons. Or we could focus on replenishing our draft capital and improving our long-term salary cap situation, clearing the way for us to compete both now and in the future."
  13. Relax. It's a conditional late round pick situation. Not worth getting dizzy over.
  14. We won't be competing against last year's Bucs. We will be competing with this years Saints
  15. Or thinking Did you really think they would give away a player and swap the wrong direction? Come on
  16. Wouldn't need to cut or trade any of them. We had 7 to start last year. If we only go 6 or 5 Thielen, Marshall, Chark, Shenault, Smith is only 5
  17. Gantt says: "The Panthers traded kicker Zane Gonzalez to the San Francisco 49ers on Friday for conditional late-round 2025 compensation." so they aren't going to lose draft value giving away a player relax
  18. Maybe not having a 1st rd pick slows the tanking crowd from emerging after a loss in Sept
  19. He's painful to watch throw. Guy is prime candidate for a really big fall in the draft.
  20. Why people are worried about this is a mystery
  21. Those aren't the actual questions. It's what Ellis Williams would want to ask. He's done that for each pro day.
