After the Seattle game, it should have been a clear indicator that Bryce shouldn’t have seen the field again this season. Also Bryce has to do those things because he can’t see if he steps up in the pocket. Majority of his interceptions this season have happened because he legit couldn’t see the defender.

What is there to learn? You can’t teach size and arm talent.

Teams not in the playoff should just refuse to play in their meaningless bowl games to hurt the NCAA in the only area they care about, their wallet. The fact that there is no NFL associated minor league or a legitimate alternative path to the NFL besides college football is crazy. Why is it possible for every other professional sport but not football? Imagine if super talented kids could come straight from high school into some kind of developmental league that actually taught them NFL football. Oh yeah, and actually pay them. Instead you have to play college ball where half of what you could be learning will never translate to the NFL. We hear it every year come draft time that some player is great, but the system or style they played in college won’t translate to the NFL level.

I wonder how much input Evero had on the personnel brought in this past offseason. Feels like Fitts signed quite a few guys that don’t really fit his defensive scheme what so ever. I mean we all already know this exact same sentiment was proven 100% true on the offensive side of the ball. Fitt should have been the first the first domino to fall. Saints had to let Davenport walk because they wanted to sign Derek Carr and needed all the cap space they could get to do so. They also developed Carl Granderson nicely which made letting Davenport walk a much easier decision. Granderson clears everyone we have outside of Burns. The Bears knew Just adding Yannick wasn’t going to cut it so they traded for Sweat. The fuging 49ers are stacked and still traded for Chase Young (Yes I understand they’re doing what ever they can to win now) What have the Panthers done to help opposite Burns?

Name me a single team who’s edge rushers outside of the top guy are as bad as the Panthers.

The team has actually signed vet DTs and LBs the past few season and yet the only edge help we’ve signed was Reddick and the shell of Justin Houston to one year deals. Why have we not signed a competent edge to play opposite Burns is beyond me. They keep throwing mid to late round/udfa flyers out there and nothing is sticking. Burns has more sacks than every other edge rusher on the team combined. But yeah….. Burns sucks and our pass rush will be fine without him.

And that is still 15 to 20% less that what this offense does. I don’t think I can recall a single pass attempt from Bryce this season that came from under center. Play action passes from under center are an NFL staple for hitting big plays down field yet we haven’t seen it once from Bryce Young.

Oh idk maybe the fact that he’s to small to operate the passing game from under center. Over 90% of our offense comes out of the shotgun and that was never the case with any of Franks teams in Indy.
