Wow Bryce is actually the worst QB in NFL history

BAKER JUST THREW A TD OMG

meanwhile SAM DARNOLD IS COOKING THE 49ERS WE SUCK

Yeah but what difference is Andy Dalton going to make? Maybe we win 2 games? This is just an awful team all around. Obviously Bryce might be the worst of them all, but man I'm tired of seeing this team suck and then luck into some wins at the end of the year.

Chargers offense sucks lmao

No. 1 Overall Pick Don't lose sight! TANK COMMANDER GUIDE US

Herbert threw straight to him. I'm more concerned about his coverage skills than his run support. I don't think he sucks but with Derrick Brown out, he's supposed to be our best player on defense.

Right? Crack open a beer or three. Have RedZone in the "background" on my PC. It is a great Sunday. We are witnessing history.

JUST GO FOR IT WORST DEFENSE IN NFL HISTORY

Am I a bad fan for being entertained by this? This is next-level suckery

Johnston is trash. Horn letting him catch that is a bad sign.

We need a miracle. There is just about no way to fix this in a year or two. If you want a timeline, look at the late 2000s Rams. That is the team I keep comparing us to. Very talent devoid, nothing to build upon. It was a miracle that team didn't go winless in 2008 or 2009. Everyone focuses on how bad the Lions were but IMO the Rams were just as bad, if not worse. It took that team a long time to bounce back. The best thing for the Panthers to do is to stay patient and don't make any rash decisions to try and compete. This is why I feel strongly we shouldn't take a QB #1 next year. I understand that for fan morale, you can't have Bryce return as the starter uncontested, but it really might be the best decision long-term for the team. Let Bryce guide us to as many top 5 picks as we need. Arch Manning 2026.

The rebuild doesn't start until 2025. What we're seeing now isn't a rebuild, it is the end result of years and years of disastrous decision-making. Ain't nothing to build with this unit. Most of these players don't belong on an NFL roster.

The vast majority of QBs in the NFL didn't lose a lot in high school. Are you suggesting they did not face adversity either? CJ Stroud only lost 4 games in 2 years starting at Ohio State. Are you saying he hasn't faced adversity either? Like, maybe Bryce Young just isn't a good QB? Why do ya'll have to go so deep with it? None of you know the work he's put in behind the scenes. I seriously doubt a dude who is 5'10 made it as far as he did at QB without putting the work in. You can face all the adversity you can handle and still be a bad QB. Don't get me wrong, sure he had some advantages that maybe other guys didn't have, but to act like he just skated through without doing anything just seems unfair. Like we don't need to knock the man's work ethic or character or what he's had to do on his own end.

I know Bryce isn't working out for us, but this seems a bit unfair to him. The reason he went to Alabama and "not some random school like Kansas" is because he earned it. He was a 5* recruit and 2nd overall player in his class. I don't see how you can say he had it any easier than CJ Stroud, who went to high school in the same area as Bryce and went to Ohio State. LIS I know Bryce is looking like a bust for us but I don't think we should question the work he's put into this game. Some players just don't work out no matter how much work they put in, it doesn't mean they haven't faced adversity.

Lol why is this Bryce Young picture still on the side of the forum?

Tua is the worst kind of QB you can have. He's good enough to where you really don't want to move on from him because you could easily do worse, but he's also not very good at all. QB Purgatory. At least Bryce is bad enough to get us the No. 1 Overall Pick. Dolphins will always be a middle-of-the-road team with Tua.

They did look better, but only because the bar was set so low. They only had 13 points entering the 4th quarter. Andy Dalton averaged 6.2 Y/A that game, which is better than Bryce, but among qualified passers would have ranked 29th in the league in 2023 (tied with Zach Wilson). People focus a lot on the passing yards but seem to forget we threw the ball 58 times. We had 44 rushing yards. The only reason we got to 27 points is because the game was well out of reach. Again, not saying it didn't look better. But it still sucked, it was just a different flavor of suck.

Overreacting? We have scored 18 or fewer points in 12 of our last 13 games. And the defense is much worse than it was last year. Derrick Brown's injury all but guaranteed it. They might have the worst position group at every level outside of the OL. QBs, RBs, WRs, TEs, DL, LBs, DBs... you name it. Name a team with a worse position group at those spots. We're at least bottom 3/5 in all of them. This is what happens when you trade all your best players for *checks notes* NOTHING and between 2019-2023 drafted nothing but straight garbage outside of Brian Burns (who we traded) and Derrick Brown (on IR). Jaycee Horn if you want to throw him in there, but he's been hurt every year. I don't think anyone is overreacting to Week 1. Week 1 just took all the hopium out of us and now we see this team for what it really is. And it ain't a pretty sight to see. The season will be more enjoyable when you accept you are about to witness history.

It is a good bet, but I'm not sure how much money I would put on it in a straight bet. Chargers will be on the road and it is a 1pm game. They also lack the firepower on offense that the Saints have. I don't see us winning, but I could see it being a low-scoring game and Chargers only win by 4 or 5. If they weren't on the road or Chargers were any better than they are, then I would call it the lock of the week.
