  1. Because what the Panthers need is another former 1st round QB that their original team gave up on.
  2. There is only so much the league is allowed to fine him. It isn’t like he got a DUI.
  3. He's trash dawg. He was better hidden last year. But the dude can't pass block to save his life. Gets manhandled by stronger dudes. Not fast enough for the smaller guys. He stinks. Sooner we realize it the better off we'll be. Or we better hope a coaching savant comes and fixes him up.
  4. Yeah, because throwing a drink at a fan is about the same as what Richardson was alleged to have done.
  5. I'm right there with you. I tried to have faith in Bryce. And honestly if he turned it around next year I would not be surprised. But I'm not banking on it.
  6. He'll make it. HOF is just tough on WRs. Look at how long Torry Holt has been waiting despite the numbers he put up.
  7. “Zach Wilson isn’t a bad QB. He just isn’t as good as everyone else, but that doesn’t mean he can’t play football”
  8. Bottom 5 means they aren’t good relative to the rest of the league. It is crazy we are even having to debate this. Compared to rest of league it is devoid of talent.
  9. It is a simple question. If you can’t name 5 teams, then you agree then that the Panthers have a bottom-5 (at best) receiving core. Calling that group “talented” is then disingenuous. Because yes, being at the bottom in the league in a category means you aren’t talented enough in that category. Trying to spin it as anything else is just weird. Is the 32nd best QB still a good QB because not everyone can be the best?
  10. Every player we have given away over the last year has backfired on us (Mayfield, Moore, McCaffrey). And yet this fanbase still wants to move on from Burns. Yeah let's continue to feed the rest of the teams in the NFL. It has worked out well for us so far.
  11. Every team has a Hubbard or better at RB. The problem with Hubbard is he'll never make something out of nothing. At least not consistently. We don't need to invest a 1st or 2nd round pick at RB, or even a 3rd round pick. But it would be nice to have someone more explosive out of the backfield.
  12. We didn't score a touchdown and we are going to finish with the worst record with no 1st round pick. I can see why a lot of people don't care all that much that we won.
  13. But they aren't a good team. And they clapped the Texans. Texans were already looking like a bad to mediocre team with Stroud. That's my point. Them looking even worse with a back-up QB is not a surprise.
  14. The Texans got smacked by the Jets last week with Stroud.
  15. Not watching this game, but heard on Redzone there have been 90 combined yards. YIKES
  16. Was this our worst offseason ever? 2009 or 2010 would be the only ones I can think of that come close. 2009 because of the Delhomme contract and trading a future 1st to take Everette in the 2nd round. 2010 didn't have any moves as bad as the trade up for Bryce or Everette, but we did absolutely nothing and wasted a year of a lot of great players.
  17. I don't know, man. This feels like the perfect situation for Belichick. We will pay him the most. We would give him the most control. We have 0 expectations, so if Belichick fails here, it won't reflect on him as poorly as it would if he failed with Herbert. We are a small market, means Belichick has to deal with less press than he would in Los Angeles or New York. I don't want Belichick. But it does make sense on his end.
  18. Fox and Rivera is splitting hairs. They were about the same. The difference is one had a No. 1 overall pick at QB. At least our defenses with Fox were usually good though. You can't say the same about the defenses Rivera fielded here. 2019, 2018, 2016, 2014, 2011... all trash defenses. Even in 2015, how many big leads did we almost squander? But Fox also sunk this team by refusing to bench Jake Delhomme. The 2009 squad would have won 10+ games with Matt Moore. Hell I'd argue the 2008 Panthers would have benefited greatly if we accepted Delhomme was washed in the second-half of the season and had benched him. Fox, like Rivera, was just too damn loyal.
