  1. I do. I posted during the Atlanta game , Week One: "This team is staring down the barrel at 0-17." Well, I was wrong about that.
  2. Her first question when she settled into to her new office was, "where do ya'll keep the football bats."
  3. No one really knows. But...had the Panthers done the above -- kept Wilks and not made the trade -- it would have been a nice gamble to draft Hendon Hooker in the 3rd round as your potential future QB. It won't surprise me at all to see him be very good in 2-3 years.
  4. And be stuck in the Twilight Zone with no hope/promise for the future. I for one am not even close to ready to say Young will not be a good NFL QB. Darnold? I'm sure he won't be. I'm also sure that with Wilks, Darnold and Co. fighting for a division title, we would have no hope of landing Maye or Williams in the 2024 draft.
  5. Some have a fire in their belly to be the best. Others don't. Where does the fire come from? No one knows.
  6. Uh...Young isn't exactly fleet of foot. Surprising, considering his size.
  7. That 2022 1st round pick looks better and better.
  8. Gosh, maybe if you pass on 1st down, they might not be expecting it. I guess Frank has some grand plan that he has passed down to his OC.
  9. Looks like Frank is back to calling the plays. PATHETIC.
  10. So, this is what we get when Frank isn't calling plays? PATHETIC.
  11. How many first round draft picks did the Panthers give up?
  12. Seriously? How about the fact that having Mark Richardson (the son) on board cost this franchise Bill Polian back in 1998, the single worst thing that ever happened to this organization. Had Polian become President at that time, the history of the Panthers would have been completely different. Having sons involved in the Front Office rarely, if ever, works. See Rankin Smith, Robert Irsay, etc.
  13. Correct me if I'm wrong here. I didn't watch every play yesterday. But...I saw the drives for first two touchdowns. Then, after the two touchdowns, it looked to me like the offense became pass happy...after driving the ball down the field running the ball. Did I miss something? Did the offense get away from the run after those two drives?
  14. As I said, not true. Do you know who Ted Stepien is? Donald Sterling? You're clueless.
  15. Just a guess but...I'm guessing he went with Reich because none of the hot candidates would take the job. They knew to stay away from Tepper. So, Tepper went with Plan B: Offensive Coach who would put together a great staff.
  16. Actually, that was you who kept it going with the..."Agreeing to disagree trying to lay all the blame on one person." I guess I misunderstood your post.
  17. Yeah...one person. Happens all the time in pro sports. Daniel Snyder...Frank McCort...Donald Sterling. I guess your worldview says that guys like Snyder, McCort, Sterling and Tepper are just snakebit. "It's the coach's fault! "But, Daniel, you hired him." "That doesn't matter. It's his fault."
  18. We can agree the disagree. There's no point in rehashing all the bad that has happened since he bought the team. Only to say the Panthers have the worst record in the NFL over the past 5 years. All the names change except one -- David Tepper. The buck stops right there.
  19. He hired the GM and coach. And he's not responsible?
  20. How about this: He purchased the team to 1) Be an NFL owner and 2) Be hands on in putting together a roster. Like, a real life fantasy team. "I'm involved. That's what I bought the team to do. Be hands on. What's the point of owning a team if I can't run the team?" Sadly, in my opinion, that's what we've got. An owner who WANTS to be intimately involved. He wants to win, yes. But he wants to win his way. Which means he is involved in putting together the team. Just a bad feeling here that he ain't backing off...no matter how much they lose. An attitude of: "If I'm not involved, why own the team?"
  21. I was very concerned the day they signed Bridgewater. I asked a friend: What are they doing? Why do you need to sign a QB in a rebuild? March 2020 to March 2023. Bridgewater to Young. The same story every offseason. The names and faces change -- Hurney, Rhule, Fitt, Reich. But there's one name and face that doesn't change. Now there are two instead of one -- the wife is officially part of the Front Office. This is and will continue to be a f------ disaster.
