  1. We have to read the regurgitated bullpoo you and the rest of the Stroud huggers have been spewing all season yet your boy couldn't show up for you against a 0-6 team and only put up 13 points against a defense that is bottom 3 in the NFL in points given up. Not a good look honestly
  2. Yea Stroud really showed that off today didn't he
  3. You and the rest of the Stroud nut huggers had it coming after all the poo you have talked
  4. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA .........................deep breath BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Enjoy the loss.
  5. You are so obsessed with Stroud and blinded by your own emotions lol. Who gives a poo if Stroud has the better rookie year? Who honestly gives a poo if he wins a few more games than Bryce this season and what does that have to do with how they do over the rest of their careers? Bryce has gotten out to a slower start than CJ and you act like the entire story has already been written. It's 7 games in into their rookie years nothing is definitive no matter how many words you want type in caps lock. There are QBs that have had worse stats than Bryce this year and they have won games. That tells you it's not all on the rookie QB to win games. Every team deals with turnovers at inoppurtune times but only a few teams get scored on as much as we do, does Bryce play defense? That first game and second game of Bryces career where he had nowhere to go with the football in 1 out of 3 drop backs? You want him to go run the routes too? What about a rookie OG giving up over 30 pressures in 2 games (a historic number btw never has been done before). You want Bryce to go out there and pass block? How about the highest paid RB in FA avging under 2 YPC. You want Bryce to play RB? Christ. Gotta love Panthers fans. You'd think after Cam Newton Panthers fans out of all other NFL Fandoms would understand it takes a team to win football games and be successful in the NFL. Doesn't matter how talented your QB is on an individual level unless you've got a Mahomes type but even then he needs help too.
  6. I butted in on a conversation I wasn't ever apart of I just saw your comment and it rubbed me the wrong way. I had a feeling it might have been a troll but I took the bait anyways. 0-6 teams don't usually get bandwagon fans to begin with lol
  7. No team is ever the same from season to season. This is especially true when you have the amount of turnover that we had from coaching, players, scheme, all of it. Every team starts from scratch when in the offseason. Is that an excuse for us being 0-6? Of course not because there is no blueprint to success in this league, every team has to find their own way. That's why you have teams that over achieve and under achieve every year its not always a black and white straight forward trajectory for every team. Just have to hope this staff can start to gel and string some wins together before the end of the season
  8. Better than being a fair weather fan like you guy. I've lived in NW Indiana my entire life and chose the Panthers as my favorite team when I was 13. Joined this board when I was 20 and I've been around ever since. I wasn't born into my fandom like you and the rest of the fans that have nothing better to do than to just "cheer for the hometown team" I actually found and wanted a reason for the Panthers to be my team not just because every other drunk idiot I was around was doing it. Unlike you I didn't have any friends who shared my interest in the Panthers. I grew up around Bears, Colts, and Cowboys fans. I defended my team and spent the money and wore their jerseys proudly even when they weren't good and all my irl friends would try and poo on them. Especially after the Clausen debacle. My grandmother passed away from cancer on the same day we drafted Cam Newton #1 overall. I will never forget that day. If all of that makes me a "bandwagon" fan because I don't live in the Carolina's then so be it, but I'd wager me being an out of state fan has made me a better and more knowledgeable Panthers fan than 99% of the people in the Carolina's.
  9. You talk about logic and research yet you want to live on a hypothetical that we'd have more wins with CJ at this point than we do with Bryce. Bryce doesn't play defense, he doesn't run routes, he doesn't block, and he doesn't call the plays. Along with the occasional rookie mistake that is the reason we are 0-6. I'll also throw out a hypothetical that CJ Stroud would not have 1600 passing yards with 9 TDs to 1 INT on this team, in this offense through 6 games. You can continue to live in your dream world fantasizing about Stroud in a Panthers uniform but it wouldn't make a difference. He'd have decent stats on a winless team just like Bryce does.
  10. Chark runs very poor routes and has very poor releases. His route tree is literally two routes Go and Deep Cross.
  11. We are not one player away on offense or defense. Best WR in the league doesn't fix our OG situation
  12. FWIW, Mario Addison was in a similar spot with us and finally became a full time starter in his age 30 season. Up to that point he was a pass rush specialist in a similar role as Haynes has been so far. Not saying we can rely on him becoming a good player at age 29+ like Addison but it is definitely possible he just needs to get on the field.
  13. Who said anything about elite? How about we start with an average supporting cast first? Because that is not what he currently has. His supporting cast is easily one of the worst in the NFL and a defense that's given up the 2nd most points through the first 6 games.
  14. I see 5 white jerseys in coverage, 2 20 yards down field, a spy, and 3 dlineman rushing. Not sure where you're getting 7 non dlineman from
  15. I don't really care about any of that. All I was saying was if you are trying to get an accurate look at how our offense compares to other offenses in the NFL when it comes to scoring points you have to judge them by similar criteria. Cherry picking stats to fit a narrative no matter if its right or wrong will never make sense to me. No doubt we are the worst team in the NFL currently when it comes to our dearth of talent and our record I don't think anyone is going to dispute that.
  16. All I was basically getting at when I said he was being asked to do more with less is that he is being asked to do what a normal QB does minus having what other QBs have to throw to/work with on offense and what they have blocking in front of them. I wasn't really talking about anything from a scheme stand point like when they said they are going to be taking more responsibility off of his plate. However I do understand where you're coming from in regards to evaluating talent in the NFL. Pitts was at least a 1st round talent, London a 1st round talent, Bijan a 1st round talent etc. AT has had exactly 1 100 yard game in his last 2 seasons with the Vikings and he only had 3 the season prior to that. He's had 4 100 yard games in the last 3 seasons with the Vikings in all, and he's already matched that in his 1st season here. There could be a few reasons for that but again, there isn't many teams that have a 33 year old slot WR as their only threat to catch passes, just the Panthers. Mac Jones would be another example and I would also chalk a lot of his struggles up to the talent or lack thereof Belicheck has put around him on offense. Cam went through the same thing when he was with the Patriots in 2020. Damiere Byrd, N'keal Harry, and a young Jakobi Meyers were his starting WRs. Just awful.
  17. Agreed I would love to see a streak to the outside WR completed a few times this season. It seems as though something is always off every time we attempt one. We allow inside pressure and Bryce throws as he's getting hit, WR stopping on their route, and of course just a bad throw where the timing is off. I think it'll happen Bryce is getting better with each passing day. It sucks to be 0-6 but there are QBs playing worse than he is who are winning games. Just have to remain patient its all we can do right now
  18. What other team is relying on a 33 year old slot WR as their primary weapon? Agree with the other parts of this though, potential is there but potential is just that...when it comes to actual success in this league the Panthers have the worst collection of talent, period. Those defenses watch film and come in with a plan. I don't think they change that plan after 2 quarters saying "hey these guys cant throw down field" they would already know that going into the game lol
  19. That would still certainly make a difference at where we're at when it comes to ranking points scored for NFL teams. You can't take points away from the total and not do it for other teams. Are you going to go through and remove all the garbage time points other teams have scored as well? That doesn't make any sense lol
  20. It's not really that difficult of a question as you make it out to be and can be done very quickly by looking at what each QB has around them. NFC South for example Saints have Michael Thomas, Chris Olave, Alvin Kamara, Jamaal Williams <- More talented core than the Panthers Buccs have Chris Godwin, Mike Evans <- both WRs are more talented than any WRs we have Falcons have Bijan, Allgerie, Pitts, and London <- more talented than our core of players You can legit go through every single team just like that and easily see the talent difference between them and the Panthers. You can't deny that the team did a piss poor job at surrounding our #1 pick with quality talent in his 1st NFL season. Add in the fact our defense has given up the 2nd most points in the NFL and its not hard to see why this team is 0-6 and our rookie QB is struggling.
  21. If you were to do that then you'd need to go and remove the defensive points scored by every other team so that it would be realistic, not just the Panthers.
  22. I'm talking about strictly the TALENT around our rookie QB not what they are asked to do. The collection of WRs, Rbs, TEs, and Offensive lineman analyzed as an entire unit. Bryce easily has the worst collection of talent out of any other starting Qb in the NFL, and if he doesn't then who does is my question
