  1. It’s 4 of 6. Two on the 20 line and one left and one right. Then 2 more incompletions on the right. Herbert three 30% behind the LOS and 10-15% 20+. Bryce was 50% behind the LOS and 0% 20+. They aren’t comparable.
  2. Hence the it’s just preseason, doesn’t matter. We just don’t want to give the Falcons and Saints too much before we play. Welp, preseason does matter when the team after 4 regular season games looks like the team that played the Jets.
  3. We also would have gotten pick 36 that based on all the trades we saw at pick 32+ could have been traded up to grab someone like La Porta at TE or stay there and grab Musgrave. It would be nice to have one of the top TEs in this loaded class. Also, based on their finish and trading away a ton of players, the Bears likely would have rather had the Rams picks. Maybe we don’t even need to throw in DJ Moore. The haul for Burns was the Rams trying to see if the window was open. They got desperate because they were 3-3 and SF was 3-4 and got CMC. Our 2023 season is done already so guess what, 2024 and 2025 first round picks are great values to us. They might be lesser to the teams making the trades but non-playoff teams rebuilding take advantage of that knowing that they aren’t there yet so it’s a longer time with a 1st round talent. We screwed up not taking the trade for Burns and hell we still aren’t close to extending him and it’s looking like he’s not worth it so we fuged up. Simple as that. We should have been building up around Young (he’s our guy now).
  4. Nope as in nope I didn’t watch that. Relax dude. Are you trying to say Iky wasn’t scouted and considered our top tackle? Did Fitterer high five as well or did he sulk because he wanted someone else? Last year after Rhule was gone, Fittere got tons of kudos for the OL. Everyone and their mother knew we wanted a tackle and there were 3 consistently at the top of mock drafts. I think everyone was happy that no tackles went before us. Fitterer was in on all the picks while Rhule was here and was also since Rhule’s been gone. Our trade up for DJ this year was almost identical to Corral’s trade up. Trading away CMC and Moore for barely anything wasn’t on Rhule’s watch. Fitterer has been awful before and after. I’m fairly certain our entire staff was cool with Iky just like they all said they were 100% sure on Young and they all said playoffs are a possibility and we are building, not rebuilding. Rhule’s gone. It’s the current staff where Iky is playing even worse and we appear to have taken a step back.
  5. We basically got DJ Johnson. It was a late 2nd, so not really close to Minho’s pick value. We also didn’t get Robinson. The 5th we got is in 2024, basically to replace the 5th we gave for Mayfield. The 2nd was a throw in on Young. We basically pissed away CMC and probably DJ Moore as well. I’m not a 49er fan at all but that’s who I am rooting for now that we are about to be 0-6, just because of CMC.
  6. Felt like our best chance to win before getting to 0-6, but even with a chance to tie it at the end, I was waiting for us to fug it up and we did. How many teams get to 1st and goal with a chance to tie and in 4 plays they don’t get a single ball even into the end zone? We’ve got almost no chance the next two weeks on the road so I’ll definitely be doing something else.
  7. Forget about the we should have traded Burns last year and that we screwed the pooch with all the draft pick trades. That’s done and we have to recognize that no Tepper/Fitt, this is not a build, this is a rebuild and should have been as far back as 2020 and then again in 2022. We fuged up not trading Burns last year but we can’t sign a $30M edge rusher when we aren’t a playoff contender. Trade Burns and maybe Moton, Brown and Horn. Depends on the market but we need picks for our next GM to build a team.
  8. I hate to say it but I am as well. If my youngest wasn’t such a big fan, I’d probably stop watching this year. The draft is always a lot of fun but this year is going to suck badly watching the Bears pair our Moore with Marvin Harrison Jr. The season is basically over now. Everyone thought Tampa would be the basement yet they are 3 (or 4 because of division record) games ahead of us after 4 weeks.
  9. I wanted Fitt gone with Rhule. Either he assisted in some really bad moves or he was strictly a yes man and gets no credit. Either way, nothing was good enough and without Rhule our drafting and trades are looking about the same. One other note is the draft is making the picks. Before that is the evaluation the creates the teams draft board and strategy. 4 weeks in and our QB evaluation of Corral over Howell and Young over Stroud and Richardson looks awful.
  10. Nope. Was Fitt saying pick someone else and Rhule forced his hand?
  11. Why? You think Rhule was forced to hire vet OC/DCs being on the hot seat and fired 5 weeks in but there’s no way Fitterer had control of the draft? Lots of credit was given to Fitt for the OL rebuild.
  12. Amazing pass by Howell. I don’t think that’s a throw Young can actually make. AR and Stroud could but not Young.
  13. I’d rather have Howell than Young TBH. fuging Fitterer. We could have: Howell DJ Moore CMC Jalen Carter Sam La Porta/Musgrave (instead of Mingo since we have DJ back) And we’d have 2024 1st and 2025 2nd and a few more picks instead of Corral.
  14. Don’t forget how well Howell is playing against the Eagles.
  15. Pretty sure we said that and it fell on deaf ears. Oh, we have to give him a chance because we don’t know what he’s like. SMH. We could have done better.
  16. Not really. Mr. Scot and others won’t admit it but there were a ton of posts that off-season saying that Fitterer had taken control of the off-season because Rhule was on the hot seat. Tepper and Fitterer made Rhule hire vet coaches and he got fired 5 weeks in. From all the talk, that was Fitt’s draft.
  17. Umm, one of Williams and Harrison will be their own pick. Still, we traded away Jalen Carter (keeping pick 9), CMC, Moore, Williams and our 2025 2nd for Young and DJ Johnson. I think I’d rather not do that trade anymore. Thanks Fitt.
  18. My bad. We didn’t even get one actual shot at the end zone. So basically, if we need to throw the ball more than 10 yards, we can’t do it. 0-4 bitches.
  19. I don’t get running the clock out now. Feels like we don’t want to give Minnesota any time but then we might only get one actual shot at a TD.
  20. This is so boring to watch. Oh look, all you need to do to stop us is stop the screen play on 1st down and then 3rd and long gets us a sack and a punt.
  21. I made a joke in the preseason hot take thread and said Reich is going to make us miss Rhule. Unfortunately, I’m starting to think it might be more true than a joke.
  22. Fitterer may have killed this team. Iky looks awful in year 2. Young is not looking great and we gave up a poo ton to get him and his other top 8 pick has played less than half his games.
  23. Yeah, I’m not really liking that. He’s fumbling way too easily.
