  1. Yeah Im with you. I dont play online and don't do the Ultimate Team thing. I play offline franchise or do an online one with a few buddies (which is super fun). But yes I agree players like us dont generate the post sales dollars so they dont care. Last year before the game came out players got wind that they literally didnt update the Franchise mode at all and it even started trending on twitter to the point that EA promised significant changes to this years version. Here is a link to the changes. https://www.ea.com/games/madden-nfl/madden-nfl-22/news/gridiron-notes-madden-22-franchise-updates?isLocalized=true To me some of the things that stand out are that you now can hire and develop staff and you have a week to week game plan based on your opponent.
  2. I got to admit Im getting excited about the upgrades to the Franchise mode this year. I was so PO'ed last year it was the 1st time I didnt buy the new version in like 15 years. But I have high hopes this year.... What do you guys think?
  3. Im very intrigued with this kid. Assuming we start 3 DB's who do you think he would push out?
  4. FINALLY landed a PS5.... Is this game worth playing yet?
  5. Well obviously we didnt think he did enough as we brought 2 new player into that position
  6. Who do you think we carry at the bottom of the roster this year as a developmental guy / hope he develops player? To me it sounds like that might be (or the team hope its to be) Ian Thomas but I could see them also taking a shot on Christian Miller's development over a season.
  7. Exactly. Perryman can never replace Luke, and I doubt anyone ever will, but he is a solid MLB in this league. Is Reddick expected to line up as a LB or is he on the line?
  8. I actually had the opposite thought. I mean this unit is not Luke and TD, but Shaq is a high level LB and Im actually really excited about Perryman in the middle. This is a big improvement from last season.
  9. Donte Jackson: 25 Chinn: 22 Horn: 21 We have a nice young group back there.
  10. He's on a 1 year small contract. If he balls out this year he will more than double his earnings.. so yeah I would be there to work too!!
  11. You seem to get your jollies by trolling people.. I would rather not be a dick online and actually try to have a football conversation. If you wanna troll, go back to Twitter.
  12. I only watched Horn at the end of his career so I dont have a great reference. Looking at his stats though he was not even top 3 in Saints history though.
  13. You could put SS above Julio and I would be happy with that. I think the SS was more impressive given his height, weight and QB he has throwing him the ball than Julio. Julio has the prototype height, weight and QB. That said I dont think that should be a knock against him.
  14. Its a decent evaluation. But saying that Fitterer didn't try hard enough to trade during the draft just makes you sound dumb.
  15. Who are your top 3 WR's of all time in the NFCS? 1. Julio Jones Arguably the best WR in the NFL since he came in to the league. Can never forget that he put up 300 yards against us in a single game. 2. Steve Smith: Has probably the most impressive, unrecognized, accomplishments all time in the NFL and that being the Triple Crown. 3. Marqcus Colston: Not a sexy pick, but 7th round mother fugger played against us for 10 years and was dominate. I could see him being replaced on this list by Mike Evans or Micheal Thomas but give me a high level player for 10 years at this point.
  16. Seriously dude fugg off already. I get your deal is to troll for attention but its seriously annoying. I get your jealous of Mr Scott and his '+ count'. But he provides a significant amount of content and discussion to this board and has been doing so for a very long time. You seem to only be on here, not to contribute but to attract attention. Grow up. Do that and people here will actually like you.
  17. Dang, I forgot how young he is.. after listening to his interview the other day... we have a LOT of reasons to be excited about him. He's not even done growing yet!!!
  18. I dont think we are a playoff team yet and Im ok with this. I think there are a lot of really strong teams in the NFC and I think we need another year of development before we hit on all cylinders. I think the development of our team coincides well with the anticipated regression of the other NFCS teams. We need 1 maybe 2 years to build, they have 1 maybe 2 years left. Im very optimistic for how this team and organization is being built.
  19. Yeah but you can make this argument about almost anyone.
  20. Exactly, he should be... They did expect him to be there. If you watch the Panthers Confidential Matt Rhule did a mock draft for Tepper and Fitt and mocked him to be available. Him being there was not a surprise.
  21. Thats a good point, but I would disagree a bit. I think they liked Sam better than the value of Fields at that draft position.
