  1. I'm sure some people will take the easy fruit and say 'watching him sit X games' etc...but in this doom and gloom I figured why not have one positive thread about one of the most dynamic players in Panthers history. Seeing CMC put so many Buccaneers on skates for a TD in the London game was impressive. I love seeing a defender go heads up 1 on 1 with CMC, and freezing like a deer in headlines bc you have no idea what's coming next.
  2. I've never viewed Shaq as a game changer; but he's been very consistent. Clearly considered a leader in this group. I appreciate him for what he's done since coming in as a rookie, but I don't know if he'll ever be that All-Pro LB that you hope you're getting when you draft a guy.
  3. F***!!! and then you didn't even mention the biggest part... Good, while you're trying to handle all that; we also have a 6'6 255 lb QB that's built like a DE, fast as a RB, with a rocket arm. My goodness!
  4. I mean you can't win many football games not throwing beyond 7 yards. That's on the play caller not the player. If you can't trust a guy THAT much, he shouldn't be out there. Sign a capable back up QB off the street Testaverde style or something.... But this last gameplan was ridiculously safe.
  5. Can we start including his username in the titles so I don't click any more lol I feel like I've been Rick Roll'd about 5 times
  6. Would love to see CMC on a premier offense, with a functional system.
  7. hahaha oh I love that leadership questions. These presidents have come and gone!
  8. lmaooo oh man this guy is an absolute riot and delusional, I get what he's saying but at this point the fans don't need to be patient. The Front office needs to start getting more things right than wrong. He also didn't give a vote of confidence to Fitterer (who I think can be good in time) He did mention that he's only 4 years in as opposed some owners of 40 years so that's fair haha
  9. I DEFINITELY wouldn't have given Rhule the contract that he had; but who's to say he didn't just look very great on paper and in person....and just couldn't execute. Hell, even Joe Brady when we got him was considered some sort of a genius and on that Sean McVay path, that a LOT of teams were taking seriously.
  10. I really thought he was going to be huge, and he can't even get on the field; I guess we'll see what he does.
  11. if that doesn't define the season so far idk what does. Get a guy to finally inject some life into the team and fanbase and he's out for weeks lol
  12. I was expecting to see someone just rambling. But this is very insightful. It can be tough to really break down a play when you don't know the actual assignment though
  13. I thought of this a few months back; apparently they both had two very different personalities that could've taken this franchise either way depending on who it fell on.
  14. https://twitter.com/akashanav/status/1577422386504212480?s=20&t=KVoNQBDabmDEnTaSnEfZRw https://twitter.com/LombardiHimself/status/1577329411514257408?s=20&t=KVoNQBDabmDEnTaSnEfZRw Can't get it to show up as a tweet; but basically yeah currently they're statistically up there with the 85 Bears/2000 Ravens defense.
  15. I forgot about that; I did just see a stat today that they're allowing 3.7 yards per play which is the lowest ypp since the 70's or something...this might get very ugly, very fast. Always possible for a surprise I guess lol
  16. This is a pretty weird kick everyone while they're down thread, and that's coming from someone who also isn't dedicating time or care into this team (as in myself). I think we all know the answer to how it feels, and if you aren't sure, click a thread, any thread it's clearly filled with despair here...and plenty of overreaction.
  17. Realistically he will at least win 3 or 4 more games; if for no other reason than 'Any Given Sunday' in the NFL, and there is talent on this roster. I wonder where that puts him all-time. It probably shoots him way down that list. (yes I know everyone thinks we'll lose out I don't need to be convinced )
  18. In hindsight I still think that was a good trade at the time. Especially knowing they'd normally give up a 2nd, and two 3rds for nothing. I guess they're just lucky they'd traded too much for Darnold already.
  19. It's hilarious what a win will do to morale. Last week the world was ending this week people (not talking about OP) seem ready to talk about the Super Bowl. This place needed some hope though, it was just miserable. But to address your point, that win last week was horrible on O, and Defense looked very good... but the Saints just looked horrible on Offense themselves. I'm sure that's how teams feel playing Carolina at this point. However, a win is a win...and sometimes wins bring momentum.
  20. I saw the same; I know he was injured but someone of his caliber should be laying out for that ball.
  21. I personally would never enter a chinese restaurant and complain about them serving chinese food.
  22. I don't follow as closely as I once did; but I actually don't hear about this topic as much as I'd expect. For a franchise that's had this much QB failure lately, to miss out on what looks to be one of this generations elite QB's by one pick... Maybe everyone has tried to block it out
  23. I'm just now looking this up, and realizing it after reading the 'What will be Rhule's biggest regret' thread....and man, idk if there would've been any way to trade up. Just imagine though, the franchise trajectory with Herbert at QB. Instead we got.....Derrick Brown lol (I guess I should expect everyone to say Rhule would've ruined him too )
