Exactly my thinking. The only time it gets a little sticky is if it's a QB, and the inquiring team already has a franchise QB. We should always want to know what the market is for top tier players.

Was really hoping we could get that 4th, and I love all that Thielen has been for us. But bigger picture, and with the opportunity to package that 4th in another trade down the line I would've loved to make it happen. If he's sticking around I hope he kills it this year and keeps making an impact on the young guys.

I'd do it; as long as the pick is right. I think a 4th and if we're lucky a future later round pick would be great. I love what Thielen brings, but we're pretty deep at WR now (and it's actual young talent with a lot of promise), I'd miss his veteran presence and reliability though for sure.

Not that I believe it's a fans responsibility to coddle a multimillionaire to do his job.... But that's one thing I've hated seeing out of this fanbase about XL. Every single social post with him on it people are hounding him about drops and catching the ball. I think even fans underestimate their ability to get in someone's head to the point that it mentally defines them. Next thing you know he's always thinking about drops instead of naturally making the catch. I'd been thinking this recently, and this article kind of solidified it for me.

lmao you sound like me, I noticed the same a few weeks ago. I watch to see him hand catch like a hawk, but not like a lot of these fans hoping he fails, I want to see him improve. That was a trait I immediately noticed about Tetairoa after we drafted him, pure hands. Didn't surprise me when he said one of the guys he emulates is Larry Fitzgerald.

I've always wondered why they make holding a 10 yard penalty. Very excessive for something that isn't a malicious/injury inducing act.

While I have a chance to be overly excited I'll take that opportunity. The team will determine what happens with that. It's been a while since we've had much to be excited about, I'd say let's just embrace it and see how it unfolds.

Yeah I couldn't get excited, and didn't even read the story when we signed him. It would've been very cool about 2 years ago. This year we're so deep at WR you know it would take a lot for him to stay on anything more than Practice Squad (which is still an amazing accomplishment in life I should say).

I get what you mean, but we have a lot of pieces that weren't here for CMC. With CMC I feel like we rarely had a solid QB and WR duo for the offense to play around. Now I think we have potential for that and that would open up CMC's game a lot; also opening up the offense for Bryce (who can also use his legs) and 3 good young WRs and a vet.

You know what's also funny....I literally thought about that too lmao I'd take Aaron Donald for sure. But if I can play what if.... I may actually take a healthy CMC lol. Because I'm indecisive, I'll put in my final bid for a top tier TE, idk about Kelce at this stage in his career though.

This is exactly why I'm so pissed, the only justification I try to lay my head on is they were saying he should've been the #1 RB in that draft without injury, and also he looked very shifty last year. But man. I felt this was a bad pick when we made it, and it's looking horrible now.

I know I'm just stating the very obvious... but it's always funny in the NFL that if you let a guy like Jaycee walk, he could stay hurt and we get some solid young replacements with the money and now Dan Morgan is a genius. Or you let him walk, he randomly heals like Wolverine and plays like Revis and now you're an idiot. We'll just have to hope with time this move pays off lol

In the spirit of due diligence, I would want to see what he's learned and changed since being here, and how much of a factor he was in building this last team/drafting Jayden Daniels.

A healthy Kupp on this team would be nasty paired with our developing young guys and Thielen.

I assumed Thielen was gone, but if he doesn't take a big step back with age that is a huge relief to have a possession veteran that you can rely on. Bryce may have some weapons depending on the progression of Coker, Legette and Sanders plus maybe one good starter in FA.

When you say anti-social where does that come from/what have you seen? I felt like he'd probably been showing more of his personality, but I'm also not as tuned in to some of his newer projects.
