People knock Willis and Lance for playing nobodies but Strong has basically played nobody for three seasons. In 2019 he played one team that was ranked and it was Oregon and he went 13 of 25 for 82 yards, 0 touchdowns and 2 picks. The rest of his three seasons he played? No games against real competition.

That was Josh Allen in college, playing against lesser competition. It doesn't matter who we draft with this coaching staff. We can't develop QBs.

I would take Mariota or Minshew. I see no point in spending assets on anyone else, including the QBs in this class.

Do any of these moves make the Panthers a better team which, would allow us to make this a more desirable location for a franchise QB? Then they do matter.
