    Big year for young. He either improves greatly or is benched and becomes one of the greatest busts of all times. Hopefully he improves but history and physical limitations are not on his side.

    People act like wilks would have done well here as hc he failed in arizona with better qb and more talent here it would have been even worse. He just got let go in san fran not bc he was awesome at his job.

    It wasnt but the defense was the week link all year and allowing the chiefs to drive so easily last 4 drived in the superbowl i am sure was the final nail.

    BY is paid milions as the first overall pick. He didnt come to a perfect situation but the panthers are not as bad as they played all last year. As the first pick it would be expected his play would elavate those around him instead seems his play if anything brought those around him down hopefully next season he shows more.

    Defense looked horrible the last 3 chiefs drives . But with that said the cmc fumble and the muffed punt killed them. Not so sure the missed extra point mattered bc chiefs would have just scored a td instead of a fg before ot with the way 9ers d was playing

    I agree the panthers do need some speed receivers to go with ATheilen but it was very impressive he was able to finish 11th in receptions in the entire nfl with Young as QB. Also impressive he was 5th in the entire nfl at getting open against man coverage. Hopefully entire offense takes a step this year no where but up from here.

    Yes all I hear on the radio is how his defensive scheme is the weak spot on the 49ers and if they loose it will be b/c of him and they will find a different DC. Honestly though everyone that wanted him as a head coach has to realize anyone could coach young and with his physical limitations its not gonna get much better.

    He was 11th in receptions and 15th in targets of course his yards / catch were low as was his tds. But is it his fault young has horrible accuracy on deeper throws even during his alabama days. As putrid as the offense was he was one of the bright spots, and apparently was 5th in the nfl in getting open against man coverage.

    Thielen did this well with young imagine what he would do with a decent nfl qb

    I wouldnt expect him to say anything better but beginning of the season everyone felt Young was in a way better situation. Even looking at records from previous season it seemed the panthers were on the upswing.

    Pair him with thielen and would have the vikings wr core back together from 5 years ago....seriously though i think it would take prime randy moss to and jerry rice all on the same team to even make bryce look average

    Crazy to think how one pic could change so many lives. Stroud over young reich is coach of thr year candidate panthers in playoffs and everyone talking about tepper making great decisions.....but instead ....

    I am curious who in the nfl has a weaker arm than young? I cant think of a starter or a backup that does.

    I have faith bryce can turn it around all the panthers need to do is get him probowl offensive linemen and wrs across the board need 10 seconds to throw with 10 yards seperation and young will be at least middle of the pack next year.

    I see that now thanks, still pretty impressive basically if it was single man young had a 50% chance thielen was open on the play.

    So Adam Theilen was the 5th best at getting open in the entire nfl pretty impressive.

    no matter what I am sure young gets preseason and first 6 games of the year....after that they will see improvement or he will go down in history as worst pics trades ever.

    With some of the young defenders i wonder what exactly he would have to do or show for it to be his fault and not everyone elses fault that he had a horrible rookie season.

    Really good hire although kinda sad after working with Bryce Young he will go from offensive genius to everyone saying his offense is holding young back lol

    Not defending Tepper but Florio's opinions have gotten strange and out their he really isnt respected like he once was.

    Thanks he seems like he would be a down to earth nice guy to meet. I work with a guy who worked at target in Charlotte and said that Steve Beeurline came in one day to return a cheap pair of shoes he bought said he was really nice just amazed him he was returning a 17 dollar pair of shoes.
