Yea... you could plug Richardson into the convo too, I just don't think it was ever beyond BY or Stroud and Stroud is showing more of a "What could have been for us" playstyle overall. It'll eventually play out like the Luka vs Trae Young trade in the NBA has... Young is solid, but Hawk fans continue to wonder what life would be like if they had faith in a foreign white guy and stuck w/ Luka. We might always wonder what the team would be like with a guy from a single mom household and low test scores compared to super computer smalls.

I think the thing that makes this frustrating for most fans is that his counterpart(Stroud) is doing FARRRR better with a worse core unit around him(based on last year's standings and our FA acquisitions compared to there's). Young was supposed to be THE missing piece to get us over our humps and struggles from last year and Reich was supposed to be the guy who had him ready to go and so far it's all looking like it was a pipe dream that we were sold by the organization on a severely undersized QB and mid-tier(at best) coach as we look even worse than last year. I think even the naysayers(including me) have hope and believe BY can possibly turn it around, it's just not looking good at all so far.

He's a super processor, but his targets needs to be WIDE open before he'll throw it. He was never one to thread needles, since he just doesn't have the arm. WR's don't have to be Olympic track stars if you have a QB who can put it over the defender or in front of the receiver in stride, Young doesn't do either well.

It's not really wild or crazy when they're obviously and clearly seeing (along w/ the rest of us) that he's not ready.

Yuck. Zavala is the next Michael Jordan on this team, continuing a long tradition of making fans ask how tf is he on anyone's roster. Unpopular opinions - Bozeman is liked more for his character than his actual skillset. Icky won't pan out to be the long term answer at LT as we all imagined and hoped, I see him signing for more than he's worth after his rookie contract.

You're right, he has to prove it not just to us, but the team as well. BY isn't Jesus and performing miracles off camera... we're all seeing how bad he is/looks live.

There’s only 5 linemen guys… 1-2 of those guys being out or not 100% can change the dynamic of the team instantly and it showed today. Fitt assuming we were good staying pat with what we had last year at oline and not providing quality depth is about as bad of a choice as trading away our WR1 and a 1st for BY. Fitt’s ass and the team’s success or lack there of displays it.

Some people have to be optimistic about this team even when it’s trash because it helps them cope with their realities outside of football… we can go 0-17 and Bryce be clear as day horrible and they’ll claim he’ll be better next year and that anyone who questions the talent on the team is a “fake” fan.
