  1. Yeah no kidding he is gonna want to know and sign off. And as an aside, you could be in agreement with something but still want to be sold. If for nothing else than to get your money’s worth and keep people sharp. See what they are thinking, make sure you know what you should know. Of course I don’t know about that Burns stuff but my feeling about rejecting the haul - it came from the top. And I would think Fitterer knew or had a good guess which way Tepper would lean before he went to him with it. Just because, day to day stuff you see and hear. Meaning yeah he doesn’t always have to say the words because they know what he wants.
  2. I feel okay about him this year. As long as he can still run.
  3. Yeah. I mean, if I owned a team that would be some of the best part of it, being in the loop on that stuff and the whole draft thing.
  4. I am a big whatever on your criticism. Keep chirping I don’t care. We have how many draft rounds invested there right now? 3 years in a row one per year. 2nd, 2nd, 1st all vying for number 3 WR It ain’t guitar collecting, WRs do not get more valuable hanging on the wall not being used. Maybe we develop the overflowing WR room and maybe then WE can get some picks coming our way for once.
  5. Nah, sometimes the best deals are the ones you don't make I ain’t bitin’. Wouldn’t change anything.
  6. No. We need to make something out of the substantial investments we’ve already made there.
  7. You make a good point there, like who does know? There are more than athletic reasons guys fail, something outside of football... attitude, family issues, maybe too much pressure too soon, and none of that may apply here but do we know? See what happens.
  8. Yeah this isn’t a draft pick any more. He is basically like any UDFA status wise now, with a better bank account. This is like that stuff where say ‘if it saves even one life...” sub in “If we find even one player..."
  9. Well look, we aren’t going anywhere so play week 1 without him, then maybe he comes in not guaranteed but gets a bonus or whatever, done.
  10. We don’t need to be too picky. Buy low try and find some value, if he is a net positive be grateful.
  11. Thank you ForJimmy, yeah. If people re read what I am saying doesn’t need repeating just read it right it’s all there. Never said anything other than the perspective can MINIMIZE the contrast. I think I said. There is for sure a contrast in the size of those two people.
  12. For us, I mean, are they going to bring in Gettleman too? Is he still alive, the fat fug? But yeah, no doubt that is noteworthy.
  13. I am not an NBA fan any longer since probably the ‘90s can’t have but so many hobbies but all people say is nepotism type of stuff. I so agree about the merit. He just didn’t measure up. Sorry but you can’t avoid puns with this, that was actually what I would say about any prospect I find lacking. I only recognized the inference after typing it. poo writes itself. I have a theory but people aren’t open minded enough for it to go public so why they did it is officially a mystery to me. Which doesn’t make me different than a lot of other people who don’t get it either. It is a pretty out there theory but show me one that makes sense.
  14. Maybe he will shock everyone. I probably will still at least give half credit to coaching and more investment in helping him than most of the defensive side of the ball is happy with. Because of the imbalance of talent necessary to prop a weak player up. You have to do what is best for your overall team. With Young on it, he is going to need the attention. Damn. He better be a whole lot better.
  15. And I think we have seen how foolish signing Watson would have been. Chasing him, even. To what end? And I also, obviously, think that the trade up was totally in character. Bad character.
  16. I was a Johnny U fan big time that year (and all other years). fuging abomination.
  17. I'd go for Cam and Pep and Bryce to exchange jerseys in the interest of fug it this is not smart. And damn because of box wine - yes I bet Pep can throw a spiral farther than Young and I have never seen him throw. poo against Young criticism just is ridiculous sometimes, without any backup aside from college.
  18. yeah, I don’t think he can earn that kind of credit as an assistant.
  19. What I think happened that really polluted stuff was Tepper pushing HARD to get their franchise QB at any cost - it just has to happen NOW. No patience. Forcing things rarely works out. I mean I think that was Tepper. I don’t know anything I just interpret the doings that way.
  20. Well, it will be a long time before he gets a team to run but he can work. To the right person, having people that have been where you are is good because a guy who has been boss at least understands more about that than people who haven't, and will have that sort of respect for the person in that position. And probably be able to help him. edit: that’s my personal perspective. I was an employee a long time then graduated into bossdom, after some years of doing that was an employee again and I can tell you I am a much better employee than I was before getting the boss experience. I was only a boss of smaller non corporate stuff, not trying to brag.
  21. Think what it would have been 7 years ago.
  22. Two thoughts. Is he getting paid by them or Tepper? lol There are some guys he drafted thinking hey, maybe that’s a spot for me. Okay three thoughts: he has to move there. Yuck.
  23. I have a real hard time believing the stuff about Reich being onboard. It just never made sense to me. But here we are. I can see where they can do better on offense and there is a possibility he could do a ball control offense with short throws but I don’t know what it can be without some way to stretch the field.
