  1. Exactly. We've been out of contention for awhile. The vets are trash. What do we have to lose? Continuing to trot the same trash out onto the field is a terrible look.
  2. It primarily has to do with seeing the trash that we've consistently played at OG. We have another option available. No one would be crying to see a 6th round rookie if we had anything resembling competent play on the field.
  3. There were three studies done that I'm aware of in '08, '09, and '11 and all three determined there was no correlation between wonderlic scores and NFL success.
  4. They were public knowledge for a long time in draft profiles
  5. I'd love to have Howell... if Rhule and company are gone. If those clowns are still here, then let Howell go to the Steelers who have their poo together. What I'm most concerned about is him ending up in N.O.
  6. Probably for some bullshit third tier vet QB who'll be put behind some bullshit patchwork of an OL. Third time's a charm folks!
  7. If Rhule is back next year there will be bags on heads at BOA.
  8. I think Gronk is actually pretty smart and his lovable dumb jock thing is largely just a shtick.
  9. Unless you're in love with a '23 QB prospect or you're trying to pickup PSLs on the cheap or trying to go to Panthers games I can't think of a single positive.
  10. The media loves a good dumpster fire. They had two this year with Urban Meyer and Gruden's emails. They're banking on Rhule's Panthers for next year.
  11. Fatt Rhule is trash and we're a doormat and laughing stock as long as he's here. I've watched my last Rhule coached a Panthers game as of a couple weeks ago. I've missed games in the past but this past Sunday was a different experience for me. It was the first time since Julius Peppers was drafted that I sat down and simply watched a different football game while the Panthers were playing. As long as Rhule is here that's gonna be what I do. Fug that guy and fug what he's done to the Panthers and fug Tepper for sitting there with his thumb up his ass watching it happen while he counts his money.
  12. It honestly feels like everyone has gotten worse. Outside of Shaq, I can't make an honest argument for anyone on the roster looking better than they had previously and honestly, while Shaq looked really good early in the season he seems to have regressed to his norm as the season has worn on. Granted, I haven't watched the last two games so maybe he's bounced back. I don't know.
  13. The guy looked so promising in the preseason. Not sure what to think right now. This staff makes so many depth chart blunders the guy could be Jamar Chase and not seeing the field.
  14. Matt Rhule was the "right upgrade" according to Tepper.
  15. Most of us had a lot of hope for Tepper as an owner, but damn... his ownership has produced disastrous results on the field so far and we seem to be digging an ever deeper hole.
  16. I don't really see the point. All I care about is football intelligence and that can largely be determined through the interview process.
  17. This new health kick with booze is hilariously ironic. Listen, I'm a beer drinker too but don't kid yourself. You're literally drinking poison when you consume alcohol. There's no way to tiptoe around that.
  18. And we're not exactly a situation setup for quick initial success. Without that, the "coming off the rails" part of the process might be expedited.
  19. Maybe he learned from his first go round. I don't know. I'd prefer to look elsewhere but I won't deny that Harbaugh would be a massive upgrade over Matt Rhule. It might just go off the rails in 3-4 years when he wears out his welcome as he is prone to do.
  20. This. IF we have an answer on the roster at LT, it's Christensen. He's been by far the best LT we've put on the field and he's a rookie who played very well as a LT throughout his college career. It's a no brainer to have been playing him there for most of the season. BUT... Fatt Rhule decided his arms were too short so he's only played him there when absolutely forced to do so. This is the downfall of analytics. When you're so beholden to them that you can't see past them. Sure, analytics say Christensen is best suited at OG. Who cares? Every draft class, only the very elite of elite OT prospects are considered LT prospects. Everyone else gets labeled a RT or someone who will have to kick inside to OG at the NFL level. It happens every year without fail. None of it matters once they're on an NFL roster. Put them on the field and figure it out. Our coaches can't do that. They stick with their initial evaluation no matter what and that's why they're fuging morons. We SHOULD have a good sample size of Christensen at LT to study between now and the draft but instead we'll have to rely on much less because our coaches are fuging dumb.
  21. Don't bother reporting this post. He's already banned. We've already exceeded our quota for political trolls.
  22. Yep. Sam Darnold is just not a good QB. He's a guy who has the physical attributes of a good QB but he just doesn't have it mentally. I'm not calling him dumb by the way. I honestly don't think that there's a huge correlation between intelligence and football IQ. Obviously, it's going to be hard to be a QB grasping an NFL playbook and reading defenses, making checks, etc. if you're a mouth breathing moron but you don't have to be a Rhodes Scholar either. Some don't handle the pressure well. Some people can't process quickly enough when the ball is snapped and that's not really intelligence related. That's a lack of instinct because if you're thinking after the ball is snapped you're going to be too slow. To be fast enough you have to be running on instinct at that point. I just think Darnold lacks the instincts.
