I can't complain too much about Horn. He looked legit before the injury and CB >>>>> off ball LB all day everyday. It's just that pick absolutely should've been between Fields and Slater IMO.

It baffles me that Panthers fans suddenly want to spend more 1st round picks on LBs. We probably have the strongest history at 4-3 LBs of any team in the league since our inception and that's paved the way to an overall losing record and investing far too many resources into lower value positions is a big reason why.

Tepper didn't plop down a massive contract because of Marty Hurney. He was sold hard too. That's why Rhule is still here despite Hurney being long gone.

Hurney sucked. Rhule's crew sucks. There. Arguing which one is worse is like having to choose whether to get hit upside the head with a hammer or a bat. There's no right or wrong answer and it's gonna really suck either way.

Sadly, this is pretty much where I'm at. It looks like our chances of success boil down to sheer luck because I'll be surprised if he suddenly starts actually making good decisions.

Sure, why not? Just look at all the rings we have as a result of spending all those first round picks on LBs over the years.

The Rams don't have a home. That stadium gets overrun by opposing fans nearly every week and that's with them fielding a SB caliber team. Imagine what it's going to look like in down years. There's a reason why the NFL left LA, they just forgot.

We absolutely should not trade away future picks but that's something we've shown every willingness to do under the Rhule regime. We should shop CMC. He's a huge contract and injury prone. I just don't know what he could honestly be expected to fetch. Given that, I guess I'd prefer we hang onto him and hope he can bounce back from the injury issues then let the next staff decide to keep him or put him on the auction block.

I'd flip flop Willis and Strong. And change the wording from "Need a Starter Now?" to "Need a Starter Now and Willing to Settle For Mediocrity at Best?" Other than that? Yeah, pretty spot on IMO.

Of all the potential first round QBs, Pickett is by far the least intriguing IMO.

We're going to be at the bottom of the list of desired locations. We're not getting anyone who has other suitors unless we significantly outbid the competition. That's just where we stand in today's NFL picture. Thanks Tepper and Rhule! Thank goodness for that brilliant Appaloosa model! It's working 1000%!

I think the Broncos are going to be the top destination for a top flight vet QB this off-season. They hired an offensive coach and they look like they could just be a QB away from making some serious noise.

Yep. No one with other comparable options is willingly coming here. The only FAs we're getting are the ones we're willing to significantly overpay.

This pretty much sums it up. The Rhule experiment has failed and it seems like everyone except Tepper has seen that and accepted it. Now we all just get to sit back and watch more damage be inflicted before we do rebuild 2.0 under Tepper. The fact that he can't see that rebuild 1.0 has been a colossal failure when virtually everyone else has seen it and accepted it doesn't bode well for 2.0.

Well, we're gonna watch this lame duck draft one of his former recruits #6 overall and our tepid owner is gonna standby and watch it because Joey Harrington 2.0 is coming out of his alma mater.

It's a horrifying combo. Pickett went to Pitt. Tepper is a Pitt alum. Pickett was committed to play for Rhule at Temple. I'll be shocked if we don't draft this guy and he's gonna bust fuging HARD.

Literally anyone. Marty Hurney, Matt Millen, a Huddler, someone who has never so much as heard of the game of football. ANYONE.

At this point, I'd rather anyone other than Matt Rhule make that evaluation and decision.

How is this still even a question at this point? In terms of the NFL, Matt Rhule is a mouth breathing moron and he has full control over football matters for the Carolina Panthers.
