It's true. I obviously like Howell a lot and I think most are underrating him considerably but this is a BAD landing spot for a rookie QB.
-
I hope he finds a much better landing spot than this fuging dumpster fire.

Greg Hardy on UFC tonight
LinvilleGorge replied to Move the Panthers to Raleigh's topic in Huddle Lounge
Evidently Hardy has been cut by the UFC. -
Crazy how little talk there was here around the combine this year. I guess that's what happens when you only have one top 100 pick and we're seemingly desperate to try to trade that away.

Your thread was shutdown because it's redundant to a dozen other threads over the past 48 hours. Enjoy the rest of the day off for doubling down with another useless thread.

James Campen #1 signing this offseason, so far.

Yeah, restructuring Elflein isn't a great start IMO. -
LOL! Why? He's fuging terrible.

Like I said earlier, I always acknowledged that Herbert had all the talent in the world and that my read on him was based entirely on what he was able to show in that Oregon offense and that coaching staff showed zero confidence in him in key game situations. Turns out they were just morons. Josh Allen is the QB I was wildly wrong about. I've never seen a guy improve so dramatically as a pure passer. I honestly didn't think it was possible.

I just can't for the life of me understand what Hubert is trying to run on offense. His offense seems completely predicated on outside jumpers falling and is setup by either isolation dribble attacks or the same tired three man top of the key weave. Our starting guards were a combined 5-27 from the field and 3-17 from three to score 20 very inefficient points combined. Meanwhile, our lone true post player and ACC POY runner-up was 9-10 for 19 incredibly efficient points. Our approach seems entirely backasswards.

Deshaun Watson won't face criminal charges
LinvilleGorge replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I was flat out wrong about Allen but I always said Herbert had all the talent in the world and my doubt was 100% because of how he was used at Oregon and the fact that staff showed no confidence in him in key situations. That's clearly an indictment of them in hindsight. -

It makes sense if you're also a chicken poo. People worthy of the job would have the guts to tell the truth. When the chips were down she proved herself unworthy. She knew the job she was signing up for and she failed. Lash out at "activists" if that makes you feel better but all you're doing is just admitting that you're ba coward who would've done the same thing. Congrats. And again, you're saying "lying" and "fake" while also admitting that you understand the process and how it was manipulated here to skirt responsibility. Stay in your feelings. Coward -

I hope this leads to a lot of backlash against the DA's office. Declining to press charges because you can't secure a conviction and don't want to waste resources? Fine. Sure, a bitter pill to swallow for some but an honorable admission and decision. Intentionally fumbling in front of a grand jury? That's just chicken poo. -

Pointing out the reality of what happened here isn't emotional. Getting butthurt about someone pointing out that reality when you seem to understand the reality yourself seems a bit emotional though. -
Welp, doest look like we qualify for Deshaun.

This is a myth that needs to die. We have the richest owner in the league. We're 22-43 under him. Our best record under him was 7-9 and that was in his very first year when he pretty much left the football side of the organization untouched. Since then? Three straight 5 win seasons. Tied for the worst three year win total in Panthers' history. Officially the worst three year win percentage in Panthers' history given the 17 game season last year.
