  1. 1:03 into TNF and we have another Tua situation. Colts RB just got helped up by teammates and was doing the chicken dance.
  2. Update: he looked like the worst of the rookie QBs in preseason.
  3. It is. Even when we had bad seasons with Cam at least we had hope because if you have a QB you can compete. This is just hopeless.
  4. I'm sure we will at some point at this rate. And then you'll remember why we were desperate to move on from him

  6. Mayfield has sucked but he's currently 12th in the league in average time to throw at 2.72 seconds. If you need the ball coming out considerably faster than that then it's a flawed offensive design. McAdoo is just one of these guys who thinks he's a lot smarter than he is. Talking about how he needs to completely reshape a QB's drop for timing, etc. If your offense relies on the ball coming out perfectly on time all the time then you're fuged. There's 11 guys on the other side of the ball trying to disrupt that.
  7. Unless we have multiple guys running the wrong routes on lots of passing plays, it is indeed bad coaching because way too often we have three receivers running to basically the same spot. Not a good play when one man can cover all your routes.
  8. My bad, I thought Fitts drafted him. Either way, I welcome any evidence that Fitts is going to prove to be a competent GM.
  9. I don't see why we have some folks who are convinced he's going to be a great GM. I don't see any evidence for it and plenty to the contrary.
  10. Can't be. I've been assured that Fitterer is godlike and only held back by Rhule and his staff.
  11. I'm not going to cry about us missing out on nepotism. And I don't think it actually mattered if we had a succession plan in place or not. It seemed pretty obvious that the league had made a deal with Tepper that he was next in line to get a team and they saw an opportunity to force out a geriatric owner to make it happen sooner than they had anticipated. Not to defend JR's actions, but I mean damn, Dan Snyder still hasn't been forced out yet
  12. This is the hard truth that plenty of us have been preaching for quite some time now. Tepper is running this thing into the ground so fast here in Carolina he'd probably welcome being part of that international expansion effort just to GTFO of dodge.
  13. Yeah, TE is probably our weakest position group and McAdoo loves TEs. He was always a baffling hire for our roster. But a good TE isn't going to turn us into the Chiefs. Don't kid yourself. Maybe we'd go from abysmal to just run of the mill bad.
  14. Firing Rhule now would make the fans feel better but it wouldn't fundamentally fix anything this season and would likely induce chaos in the organization as a good chunk of the staff followed Rhule to his next college job. As much as it sucks, honestly retaining Rhule until late in the season is honestly maybe the best course of action.
  15. I really do believe those Mac Jones rumors. There was way too much smoke for their not to be some fire and there was no reason for the Niners to be putting up a smokescreen. Then again, Mac Jones sucks too. I really think Shanny just got caught up in the hype train of that QB draft class and just had to get him one at any cost. Now he's really handcuffed himself on how to fix his long-term QB problem due to that trade.
  16. Jimmy G sucks but he's basically Teddy Bridgewater. I mean, they've already gone to a NFC CG and SB with Jimmy G. That roster doesn't need an elite QB to contend, they just need something better than Trey Lance who really did look Mayfield level bad. They gotta regret the fug out of that trade.
  17. That and Stafford is very obviously not right. He looks bad. I think that elbow is a problem.
  18. Bobby Wagner would've gotten ejected for targeting in the college game for the hit he put on the fan on the field. He hammered that dude. https://www.facebook.com/SportsCenter/videos/801867677795935/?flite=scwspnss&mibextid=cV6XMN5UE6oGu1k3
  19. Oh, 100%. Even if Stafford's arm is shot that trade was absolutely worth it for them.
  20. Evidently it's tendonitis and that poo takes forever to get over. I've dealt with elbow tendonitis before. Fortunately mine was mild but it still lingers forever and certain movements just send a lightning bolt down your arm. I honestly don't think you ever truly recover from from some soft tissue injuries. My elbow will still occasionally flare up and so will my big toe from a turf toe injury years ago. Injuries to tendons and ligaments are just a motherfuger
