It's a lot of moving parts but it's possible.

Maybe you should take your own advice.

Maybe he should just do like Tepper and hide in the basement when things don't go well.

Yeah, the Heels have never played well when they go into "protect the lead" mode but I think Hubert knew his guys were running out of gas. I still think we would've been better off keeping the foot on the gas until the foot fell off but it's easy to say you should've done something different in hindsight. I'm proud of the way the team kept fighting like hell and didn't fold when KU came back. We couldn't hit water from a boat but the heart and effort never lacked.

Trade Back - Draft Ridder - Bridge with Cam
LinvilleGorge replied to SetfreexX's topic in Carolina Panthers
Watch him play. The measurables just don't translate. He looks like a JAG out there. -
I was pissed y'all beat us because I wanna win every game of course but then y'all beat duke and it's like... aight, we good.

Didn't look like goal tending to me and the crowd reaction was pretty telling on the replay they got and we didn't. TV coverage of this tourney was poo. Too much pushing their narrative and not enough showing of replays of key plays and actually telling us what's going on. So many times they'd be talking about whatever and I'm trying to figure out was it a foul? If so on who? Or did they call traveling, out of bounds? I have no idea what's going on because they're talking about who knows what and showing shots of the crowd.

Thanks for reminding me. Honestly, fug that guy. We don't need trash like that around here. He better hope one of the other mods is more gracious and let's him out of jail. Gonna be honest though, I don't like his chances.

If we were holding a Huddle poo poster draft the #6 overall pick would probably be too low to get you. Be better.

Just ignore that troll. He's consistently pathetic. duke would have to win the next 30 in a row to even begin to start to make up for those last two. They'll have three lottery picks in this year's NBA draft and we might not have a 1st rounder and yet we whipped their ass in the two biggest games of their season. They big mad.

Somehow I had no idea that Trimble was JP Tokoto's little brother. Well, that explains the crazy bounce.
-
Oh poo. Nevermind, you're right. When I was first looking at it I was just looking at his foot. Looking to the right of his foot when he plants you can very clearly see the floorboard flex. Damn.
-
I remember Forte's first shot as a Heel. He pulled from about six feet beyond the arc and it was just nylon. Like, damn. Alright, that kid ain't scared! Oh, and 24 and 16 vs. duke at Cameron. That was an all-timer.

One of my absolute favorites to watch. Such an old school baller. Just silky smooth. So smooth he looked slow but he couldn't have been because no one could guard him. That guy single handedly delayed 8-20. With him taking all the attention, guys like Capel and Lang looked legit. When he was gone and they were the focus... uh oh.

At the end of the day, we shot 32% from the field and 22% from three and we STILL came three points shy of a national championship. We did it by fighting our fuging asses off. Out-rebounded them 55-35. We couldn't hit water from a boat from the field but we shot 82% from the FT line and that kept us in the game.

Yeah, Walton reminded me so much of a young Forte last year but I just don't know if he's quick enough to stay in front of ACC guards playing the type of pressure man D Hubert wants to play. Not sure about Love and Bacot. Both terrific college players but I'm not sure about their NBA prospects. Love is a classic combo guard. Doesn't really have the court vision of a PG and is undersized in the NBA at SG. He really struggled on both ends of the court tonight dealing with the length of the KU guards and that's every night in the NBA. Bacot definitely doesn't have prototypical NBA athleticism but the guy has more than held his own against legit future NBA centers. I think he can play a long time in the league, particularly if he can add a reliable 15-17' jumper to his game.

Trimble looks unreal. Really shocked he's not considered a top 10 recruit. CRAZY bounce. That dude's gonna have some highlights. Walton needs to either transfer or commit himself to playing D. He fell out of the rotation due to defensive liability. We had plenty of other shooters. Yeah, I don't know what happened with Garcia. I thought it was legit family illness stuff until a reporter asked the guys after one of the tourney wins (I think Baylor) if any of them had heard from Garcia and everyone just kinda looked around at each other and Bacot just laughed. Something happened there, but I don't know what. After seeing that exchange I'd be surprised to see him back.
-
Not exaggerating when I say that I think he's the best college rebounder I've ever seen. To do what he did this season as literally our only true post player in the rotation? Damn.
-
Hate it for the guy. He literally went until the wheels fell off. Helluva gutsy game from him.
-
I'm just seeing a reflection off of shiny hardwood.
-
To be clear, giving up the big lead WAS. a choke job but taking that punch and fighting back and making it nip and tuck the rest of the game despite being pretty much ice damn cold and completely gassed? Man, that was fuging heart.
-
Yep. Y'all had to win that tourney to get in and balled the fug out. Be proud.

There's a couple who are gonna have some time away to marinate on some pretty awful takes on kids playing for a scholarship for their entertainment.

Other than checking a box for an HR department I can't honestly say I've ever truly used my degree. Just being honest. Our higher education approach could use a significant retooling.
