Okay now, I'm starting to get weather alerts from folks I actually pay attention to on this one. Gonna keep an eye on this. I snowboarded 30-50 days a year back in CO depending on conditions and how busy I was but I've never been in NC. If we're gonna actually get some real snow I might have to break out a board and go slide around a bit.

If it's freezing rain it'll probably be an inch or so based on the moisture available which combined with wind is still gonna create PLENTY of problems.

Rhule and Fitterer both made comments to the effect of "we just have to protect Darnold better"band "he showed some good things when we protected him". I don't know if they're in just utter denial or they're trying to put up a hilariously bad smokescreen. Then again, we've been dumb enough at the QB position under Rhule, it would be tough to concoct a smokescreen idea that would be idiotic enough for folks to disbelieve thinking "there's no way they're THAT stupid" because, I mean... we really might be based on recent history.

Bingo. I mentioned it very early on in the season how strange (and concerning) it was that Darnold seemed to look his best when pressured immediately and forced into a quick decision. The longer he had to survey the field, the higher the likelihood was that he was going to do something really stupid. It's the opposite of what you expect and want to see.

You're missing the point. The point was that they weren't that night. Herbert was under constant duress but he was still able to keep them competitive. There seems to be an ever increasingly prevalent opinion on the Huddle (and at Panthers' HQ) that fixing the OL is going fix everything. It's won't. We still need a QB.

Did you see their RT getting wrecked? He looked like Remmers in SB50. Herbert had pressure in his face almost instantly from the right on virtually every dropback.

Tepper is shook. He went all in on a guy full of hot air because he bought into him hook, line, and sinker. Now it's obvious that guy was a fraud but Tepper is too proud to swallow that bitter pill just yet. Either that or he's still a true believer. I'm not sure which scenario is scariest for the future of the Panthers but they both paint a pretty bleak future.

PJ never made it in the NFL until Rhule got an NFL gig and now it seems clear that he'll have an NFL gig for as long as Rhule lasts.
