  1. Can an Agholor supporter break down for me why he's better than Marquise Lee? What's the difference? Lee put up better numbers at USC. Similar size. Similar workout numbers. Lee was the 4th leading receiver for the Jags last season as a rookie.
  2. I'm definitely not on board with taking Agholor in the 1st, but your 5th or 5th best WR in the draft argument just doesn't hold water considering KB was the 5th WR taken in last year's draft. Now, he may have been ranked higher than the #5 WR according to Gettleman, but he was the 5th off the board.
  3. I haven't watched enough of his games to really draw a conclusion, but during the gauntlet drill at the combine it looked as if his hands were allergic to footballs.
  4. If we end up taking Nelson Agholor at #25 over Jaelen Strong, I'm going to throw an intense hissy fit. Just fair warning.
  5. Okay, so basically he's a terrible blocker who you're making excuses for. Got it.
  6. I'd have no problem with Agholor in the 2nd, but the knock on his blocking is legit. But, to be fair, very few college WRs block at an NFL ready level. Most of them are terrible blockers, Agholor included.
  7. No. Agholor is faster. It's just that the difference in a tenth or so of a second in straight line speed is pretty marginal. If a guy is thought to be a 4.4 guy and runs a 4.5, I don't think scouts really re-evaluate that guy. He's still basically who you thought he was. Now, if he runs 4.6+, that's when they probably go back and have another look. A slow 40 is a big reason why Keenan Allen fell out of the 1st round after many thought he was a top 10 early in the process. Turned out he should've been a top 10 pick, but when a WR runs that slow, it's definitely a huge red flag. Didn't matter with Allen.
  8. Highly likely. I just put his name on the list because of that ACL injury. A lot of teams probably won't even consider him in the 1st or 2nd due to that alone. But, it only takes one...
  9. Gregory is an idiot though. His slipping, if it's happening, isn't due to his abilities or on-field play. It's due to him failing a drug test at the combine and teams digging into his personal life doing their background work on him. IMO, movement on draft boards has more to do with off-field research than it does on-field play and actual football abilities. These scouts know who a guy is on the field. Unless workouts are jaw droppingly good or head shakingly bad, they're primarily just used to confirm what they've already seen on tape. But, digging in and doing the background research on a guy, that can really change some things. Don't be surprised if all the "analysts" are all in an uproar if DGB doesn't even get a glance from teams in the first two rounds. His draft status almost completely hinges on that off-field background research.
  10. I appreciate all that typing you just did, but it all goes out the window because virtually every "analyst" out there constantly yammers on and on about their "sources". But, you keep doing you and dredging every corner of the internet and posting crap tons of links to make you seem like you know what you're talking about.
  11. Some quick math... 4.58 - 4.41 = 0.17. That's a lot closer to two tenths than one tenth. Cut that gap almost in half. The difference in one tenth of a second at 40 yards is about one step.
  12. Yikes. I'd be surprised to see either Smith or Ogbuehi go in the 1st. Add them to the list of guys who could potentially still be there at the top of the 3rd. Though I think Gettleman would take Ogbuehi in the 2nd if he was still there.
  13. I doubt his draft stock was actually in decline simply because he never looked that impressive to begin with. A couple scouts or GMs or "team insiders" probably leaked some info that they liked the guy and it likely soon spread like wildfire among the "analysts". I swear, some of the stuff that gets leaked is a 100% troll job just to see how far some idiots will run with it.
  14. Morgan Moses went in the 1st round in virtually every mock too. Mocks are fun to get your football fix in the offseason, but the reality is that they're worthless. For entertainment purposes only.
  15. Potentially? Laken Tomlinson, Benardrick McKinney, Cameron Erving (if teams project him inside), D.J. Humpries (still not buying this fast riser talk), Byron Jones, and Devin Smith. Wouldn't shock me if all of them are gone by the end of the 2nd, but I honestly expect at least one or two to still be there at the top of the 3rd.
  16. There's some guys on that list that have a good chance to still be on the board in the 3rd round.
  17. I was just joking around with you. Appreciate your clarifications above though.
  18. Saying you're clearly smarter on the subject and prompting others to "do a little more research" and acting as if your opinion is fact is essentially calling others a dumbass and does make you an asshole. Just because others disagree with you doesn't mean they need to "do more research" so that they may hopefully one day be as enlightened as you are on the subject.
  19. I'm just saying, if you want to be a condescending asshole and try to act like you're smarter than everyone else, at least give it a shot.
  20. My bad. I thought you were a USC fan. I try not to be a grammar Nazi, but when someone is being as condescending as you have been in this thread while using terrible grammar, I admit that I cannot resist.
  21. Really? You know it's okay to have a difference of opinion without getting butthurt, right?
  22. Your opinion. That's fine. I'm not going to stoop to insults. But, I think your opinion is shaded by USC fandom.
  23. Rashad Greene and Justin Hardy for sure. I'd argue for Kevin White too.
