Blaine Gabbert sucks as a starter but he is a better NFL QB than Bryce Young. Based on what I've seen out of Bryce I honestly don't know if there's a single QB on an active NFL roster that I wouldn't take over him. He's THAT bad.

When we picked Cam in 2011 a lot of the media talking heads were trying to hype up Blaine Gabbert #1. Like c'mon... really?

Bryce is different because it's very rare for a high pick to flip because he simply looks like he physically doesn't belong on an NFL field. Top picks usually have the physical tools. Their failure usually comes down to not being able to mentally process well enough or being too cocky to put in the work or off the field stuff or whatever but it is very rarely because they prove to be physically grossly overmatched. That stuff is actually fairly easy to see on the college tape. Bryce honestly should've been a mid round pick. I said leading up to the draft that he looked like a 3rd or 4th round type pick where someone would roll the dice on a really good college player that probably won't translate in the off chance that he does.

I disagree. We still wouldn't be a good team but we'd be moving the ball and scoring points. It'd probably look a lot like Cam's rookie season when we generally scored enough points to compete but the D would find a way to give up just a few more.

Good game. Low scoring but felt more like good D than bad O. The pass rush was eating all night on both sides.
