  1. That's DJ Chark. That's the one thing he does really well. I honestly think our field stretching issue has primarily been at QB. It wasn't an issue in one particular game this year.
  2. The main problem is that he's a slot receiver and Thielen is actually playing really well in that role.
  3. I knew all I needed to know simply based on the deal he was willing to take. No legit GM candidate is taking a job in title only to be the wet nurse and rubber stamp for a college coach. Seeing him operate as the legit GM tells me that he was a big part of the problem himself. This coaching staff may not be what we expected it to be, but they also aren't THIS bad. This roster absolutely doesn't fit what they're trying to do. I blame them for not better adjusting to it, but the talent is a significant issue.
  4. Maybe that ball bouncing off Ian Thomas' head was the last straw.
  5. I wanted him to follow Rhule out the door but most had convinced themselves that Rhule was the root of all issues. To that I say, well... how 'bout now?
  6. He can't afford to trade him after turning down that Rams deal. We're not getting that type of offer again and if he was traded for less (likely considerably less)Fitts knows it would get thrown in his face immediately and loudly.
  7. It's the worst NFL OL I've ever seen and they find a way to get worse every week. The Giants had already matched their season sack total by halftime. Early on lots of people were trying to blame Howell and of course some sacks are going to fall on the QB. But reality is starting to sink in that this OL Ron has assembled is just completely and absolutely atrocious. Keep in mind the fastest average time to throw in the NFL is Tua at 2.37 seconds. So even the fastest to throw QB in the NFL would be getting pressured or hit on over half of his dropbacks in the Giants game. This should bring back painful memories for Panthers fans. The Bell/Chandler OT plan ring a bell?
  8. Will franchise tag and long ugly holdout be a surprise to anyone at this point? Seems like that's the type of outcome that Tepper era Panthers planning generally leads to.
  9. It's gonna be absolute pandemonium on here if Bryce has another mediocre game and Stroud goes yard against a defense largely consisting of the backups on an already terrible roster. And that all seems extremely likely.
  10. Nobody is perfect but he's having a great rookie season and the guys around him had never done poo before.
  11. He probably is but I doubt it's gonna happen against second and third stringers in an already bad team.
  12. Stroud is off to a great start and we're missing damn near our entire defense. Doesn't seem like a great recipe for a Panthers W.
  13. If you ask me all cities are bland. The concrete jungle does nothing for me.
  14. Denver is honestly an awful city. 15 years ago it at least had cleanliness going for it. It was probably the cleanest large city I'd ever seen. Then it turned into just a poo hole full of people trying really hard to be the stereotypical "Colorado bro". I only made it 14 years in CO because I was in Evergreen but then it slowly turned into Cherry Creek of the foothills and it was like... yeah it's just time to cash in and GTFO of here.
  15. Not everyone is looking for an NYC. One person's bland is what another might be looking for. I don't want to be in Charlotte but I'd take Charlotte all day everyday over an NYC.
  16. I have to go up to NYC for a meeting on the 8th. I'm so excited about going that I'm flying in and out the same day. Been working on this for two years now so very excited for the meeting but that's all NYC offers for me. Looking forward to getting my piece of that pie though. If this goes well it'll be a seven figure deal for my business.
  17. For me personally that's every city. Aside from historical stuff, every city is the same to me.
  18. I feel like the stereotype that every pro athlete is a club hopping, night life living guy craving that big city party lifestyle probably only fits a fairly small percentage of the overall group and the older and more established in the league a guy is the less likely it probably is to fit him. A lot of these guys aren't that different than the average guy. They just wanna go to work, get paid, and go home to their family.
  19. $13M cap hit next year and that's the last year of his contract. So you're either taking a $13M cap hit or you're extending him and dumping even more money into a half assing malcontent.
  20. This. The only players available at this point are from bad teams ready to fire sale or problem pieces on decent teams. Good teams are nosing around the potential fire sales and bad teams are trying to figure if they can get above market value from a team trying to find that key piece to make a run. It's not hard to figure out which group we fall into.
  21. For Jeudy? Sure. How about two 7ths? I'm not trading anything of real value for that guy. He ain't got no dog in him. We need some dogs on this team. We have enough guys happy to just go through the motions, take their L, and cash their check.
  22. The Niners played like poo last night and Purdy folded like a cheap suit in the clutch.
