Yeah, I think people underestimated just how awful UVA is.
-
We couldn't run the ball. We averaged less than three yards per carry. I don't care how we move it as long as we're moving it.
-
As for UNC earlier today... Maye had two boneheaded INTs but we play great D, still put up 31 points and win comfortably? Well hell yeah! That's awesome!
-
Physically they're extremely similar.
-
Oof. Awful call. If anything that was offensive PI.
-
There we go. Outside of two boneheaded INTs this has been domination on both sides of the ball.
-
What in the fug is Drake Maye doing?
-
That was 100% on Drake. The receiver was wide open and he just biffed it.
-
Carolina D is playing ball.
-
Yikes, Drake. That throw was trash. That receiver was wide ass open.
-
UNC's D has been much improved today from the no show vs. App.

I don't know where UNC has been hiding #6 but that boy's a baller. This OC needs to shelve the WR screens for awhile. He's gone to that well too many times. Maybe run a double move faking one and go deep then forget about them for a couple weeks.
-
Glad UNC's OC finally dialed up a deep ball in the first half.

Well, we've found Nebraska's new transfer QB for next year.
-
It's really not difficult to comprehend. There's a big difference between this and latching all in onto every hype train out there... until the shine is off and then onto the next

You're just a hype train bandwagon jumper. That's all. Lots of fans are.

The laughing it legit because everyone knows you will.

QB School: Bryce Young - Week 1 @ Falcons
LinvilleGorge replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
Now that I've beat up JT for some of his worst work, if you want to see some of his best watch his week one breakdown of Howell. Now everyone knows I'm a Howell fanboy but this one came across really fair and unbiased and pointed out some good stuff - both good and bad - that's easy to miss just watching the game. He even caught himself a couple of times and admitted that some of his critique on certain plays was getting really nit picky. -

I don't know but it came across really obviously IMO and kinda distracted from pretty much everything else for me. -

I think he's credible. He's certainly spent a ton of time breaking down film with NFL coaches and sitting through QB room meetings in the NFL. I do think his biases are getting in the way though. I enjoy his breakdowns for the most part, this was just the worst one I've seen though to be fair I've probably only watched maybe 8-10 of his breakdowns so in all fairness he could potentially have a lot of bad ones. -
Doesn't sound good. I hope the kid is okay and doesn't fall back into bad habits. Being an NFL bust but getting a nice financial headstart in life via an NFL contract is far from the worst thing in the world. Crushingly disappointing, absolutely. But I hope he can take the time to reflect and realize that in the grand scheme of things he still has a pretty sweet setup here and I'm sure there's still a future for him in the game of football if he wants it even if it's not as a player in the NFL.

Very possible.

Don't come crawling back if we do significantly better.

Based on what TCU did last year but they lost pretty much their entire offense and they were a team carried by offense. That number beside their name was a nod to last year's achievements and last year culminated in one of the worst beatdowns of all time in a high level championship game. They're not good. Significantly worse than I expected. It was a combo of CU being significantly better than expected and TCU being significantly worse than expected.

Lots of knowledgeable folks don't have the physical ability to do. How many great coaches were great players? Hell, Bill Belichick will tell anyone that will listen that lacrosse is his true passion. I do respect the long-term backup QBs. You gotta prepare every week as if you're the starter because on any given play you might be the starter, but the vast majority of the time You're not going to play. It takes a pretty high level of dedication to do that week in and week out for years.
