  1. One mistake at HC doesn’t mean he’s incapable of finding one next time. And we weren’t the only team very interested in Rhule, unfortunately he is a much better conman than coach.
  2. All I see is that he’s not as stubborn about personnel. Rivera woulda held onto CMC and kept running him into a wall every week. And if Fitterer got rid of CMC anyway, there’s no way Blackshear would be getting the opportunities he’s getting under Rivera. Bozeman would still be on the bench. Etc.
  3. Absolutely. I’m interested to see what he can do with a better OC and QB. He never gets any plays except that exact same swing pass every time. We need to use him in the crossing game, we should be able to get the ball in his hands with momentum…past the line of scrimmage
  4. Yea I’ll allow for the possibility he’s a tiny bit better than Rivera, but I don’t want anyone remotely close to that. I’d rather take another wild swing and miss and try again in three years than 9 years of Rivera ball, especially since we’re not likely to luck into another Cam + Luke and some of the other greats we had that dragged that inept coach to a respectable record occasionally
  5. It was a dumpster fire with some really good talent on the team. We have good players outside of QB, and having such a good OL is the only reason Wilks is able to do decently like he has. Many coaches could have come in and gone .500 with the talent on this team, imo
  6. QB by a HUGE margin, then TE, WR, LB, DE
  7. Uh I’ll give him credit for doing a decent job but it’s not like he’s setting the league on fire. He should get an interview but not serious consideration. As others have said he’s just Rivera with a different name. That’s the worst thing we could do.
  8. Gd our OL are bullies. So nice to be able to say that again
  9. Also wanna point out Geno took his helmet off while still on the field…
  10. Horn is a dawg. Even if that doesn’t stand that was a helluva cut
  11. I really like Blackshear. Shows really good vision and patience for a rookie
  12. Well I’ll admit that looks different than I remember. I’d be curious who those four wins in a row were, if we had a run of pushovers after the bye that paints a slightly different picture. But in general I never saw one iota of growth or improvement from Rivera in any aspect of the game except in 15 when he learned to back off and let Cam run the show on offense. Then he regressed back into his old ways the next year. So that’s why I might have been misremembering the bye week ineptitude
  13. My problem isn’t running it, it’s Hubbard running it. Shoulda been Blackshear like earlier in the drive.
  14. Who’s the idiot that decided Hubbard is the 3rd down back? He made that simple 1 yard catch look hard and a run by him on 3rd and 8 is destined for failure
  15. Because that happened before the warning. That’s just how it works, something happens, league says we don’t want it happening anymore and announces it better not happen again, it happens again and the hammer comes down. Just like parenting.
  16. It was mentioned above the league released a notice after that time that fines would follow. Then the Saints did it so they got fined.
  17. Either they weren’t a fit for the system, didn’t have the talent around them, or coaching. It’s pretty obvious the answer for anyone in the past 11 years or so is the latter.
  18. I have two Cam jerseys, one basic in black and one of the authentic ones in blue, a mid tier blue Smitty one that I wore to meet him at an event he held here in Maryland when he was a Raven. He offered to sign it for me (I didn’t ask) so now it’s framed in my mancave, mid tier blue Deangelo, basic white Beason, basic white Spinderella (that taught me to never buy a rookie’s jersey before he’s had a chance to play), basic black Peppers, basic black Greene (bought when he was on the team, one of my oldest jerseys, half the number is chipped away)
  19. Before the season, I had planned to go to the Baltimore game with my buddy that’s a Browns fan (also a big Baker fan). I told him if Baker was playing well up to that point I’d buy a Panthers Mayfield jersey and I’d wear it to the game and he could wear his Browns Mayfield jersey. Needless to say, that plan was not carried out. I ended up not going to the game anyway, not because of how bad we’ve been doing but it just didn’t work out. and I sure as poo wasn’t about to buy a Bridgewater or Darnold jersey.
  20. I’m going to be completely original and say interviewing for the job. Aside from that, cutting Cam. Could have saved money, fan goodwill, and developed a guy behind him for a couple years without wasting all those draft picks and money on Bridgewater, Darnold and Baker.
  21. What about that TCU receiver, is he eligible? I haven’t been following anything except QB closely but that guy was the most impressive WR I’ve seen so far this year. I e seen tons of Harrison video since I’ve watched every offensive play by OSU that there’s video of, but just a couple games worth of stuff on the TCU guy. If we can’t get Stroud or Young in the first, a top WR or pass rusher would be my vote.
