    Our defense is decimated, of course they’re getting gashed. It was thin to start and now we’re down half the starters or more.

    He’s been good. Bryce made him look worse than he was last year. He struggled, but not as bad as the doomsayers made it out to be.

    Yea this was a poorly coached game, particularly the offensive playcalling. But it’s one game. We’ll see how the rest of the season goes.

    Also, it’s not obvious from the graphic shown but Young is actually represented. He’s just off the chart in the negative to the bottom left…

    Yea, he’s not overly flashy, but he’s consistent and smart. That’s what we need right now with new coaches, lotta new players and young players that need effective reps and not just running routes for no reason because there’s no chance the ball will be thrown anywhere near them. With Andy out there we can really see who is growing and what they all need to work on.

    A second? Hell no. We’re not going to replace his production with a second, not even close. Even a first would have me iffy, since it’ll be a very late first. Worth more to us than any contender is going to part with for him.

    Absolutely. He’s a strong #1 and the perfect kind of WR for whatever QB we draft.

    Darnold maybe, Baker more likely, Wilks definitely not. He makes every defense he takes over worse than they were before and is way too conservative. I’ll never understand some people’s obsession with Ron Rivera-lite. The full calorie version was bad enough.

    I’m the same way. Yea there was some frustrating stuff, the drops really killed our chances of coming back at the end, but the offense looks solid. Defense is dealing with too many injuries, Brown being out hurts a lot. But that was still Burrow, Chase and Higgins. They’re a great offense. We’re just not in their league yet.

    Tough game but good effort. Too many injuries, and Bengals are a good team despite their record. At least our offense is looking solid. Just gotta get those drops under control.
