It just goes to show that the huddle doesn't know as much as it thinks it does.

I would say a bit of both. I know he only had eyes for the Panthers HC position. Maybe the other teams knew that and decided it would be a waste of time because Wilks only wanted this job. I would like to think that's the case.

It was a disaster. It was doomed from the start.

They certainly seem to be interested in him for DC. I'm not sure Wilks wants to be a DC right now. I think he only wanted to be the Panthers HC. I can't blame him for not wanting to go anywhere else. He can probably retire if he wanted to. I hope Tepper compensated him well for his time here. He certainly should as he game a dumbass 60 mil to flail around for over 2 seasons. He should give Wilks that just for what he accomplished.

Wilks is a an honorable man and a good coach. So is Reich. It's unfortunate that it turned out this way. But deep down I think Wilks knew he had an uphill battle because of the direction Tepper wanted to go.

My offseason predictions is coming true.

I would not call his record average but okay. We just may be in the same place in 3 years sure, but his record says there's a good chance we won't be looking for another coach that soon. It is what it is.

I read somewhere yesterday that about a dozen or so players that included some captains met with Reich yesterday to express their support. That's a good sign.

So you are a real man on the internet. Good for you I guess. It's just an odd way to flex on someone just because you don't like the fact he's not your preferred coach, a man you do not know or his family. I don't think that makes you look like a he-man at all. But you do you.

Incompetent is a matter of perspective I guess. I cannot say how Reich looks at the situation. He's worked with some bad qb's so he may not be so picky about a short timer qb. But that depends on whether they are in win now mode or are still building through the draft. With Rhule it seemed that changed season to season. So either way I do not care. It's going to be ugly for a while anyway until they can get a qb that can get his playbook down.

There's no need to be so salty about it that you attack his family. You act as if it were a personal insult to you that Tepper hired who HE wanted. It never was OUR decision.

It means nothing. Eason can be cut at any time. His only hope is to stick around long enough to be a camp arm. After the rest of the staff is in place the focus will turn to the draft. Corral is the only current qb that will most likely be in the qb room next season.

Well my first reaction wasn't laughter that's for sure. I couldn't decide whether to call the cops or the guys with the padded van at first. But to be honest, by the time I was 30 seconds in my final thought was to just shoot the guy before he gets the chance to spread his seed.

I do not understand why he's so salty about this. He must have lost a bet on it because he's lashing out about his kids now. He's going to be miserable all season no matter what.
