Don't underestimate what teams "leak" in hopes of getting said player to slide in the draft. Like slide down to where they can "take a chance" on him.

This makes too much sense for it to happen. It would certainly make for an interesting draft for sure.

I see. I'm disappointed in Igo, he usually has this place in a panic a week before the draft. Looking around here it seems it's down to a minor annoyance for most. Seems most just want to get it over with so we can get one with life. For me it's all entertainment. I get to laugh at the reactions on here. There will be claims of victory or failure before anyone suits up. The usual banter. It's more entertaining this season because a new scapegoat will be selected somewhere in the draft. One that will have to save the franchise from itself and keep the fans interested enough to fork over their hard earned dollars. It should be a hoot to watch.

Of course, but this is the situation we find ourselves in. No amount of bitching is going to change that. This is Teppers show and he is driving the bus. His guy is calling the shots and shouldn't be. Neither are good at what they are currently doing but love to spout off about how things are going 1000% as planned. Neither should be running their mouth until they show us they actually know what they are doing.

It's the best thing to do when you can't keep your mouth shut when you absolutely should. So for the best of everyone involved they are doing the right thing by staying out off the media.

How upset should I be and to whom should I be upset? Is this like getting lathered up about a pick days before it is made? Just trying to understand the ground rules.

What's to stop them from trading future 1st's to move up next season? There's infinite ways to get in the top 3 if they want to, ask SF.

Many? One guy was claiming he was a generational center. I have not seen "many" saying to draft him. A couple wanted him in the bottom of first but I have not seem "many' wanting him at 6.

You will get no argument from me. Just stating the obvious.

Tepper will not let Rhule trot Darnold out there again. Tepper wants fans in the seats and Darnold ain't gonna do it. The man tried to trade the bank for Watson for goodness sake. You will not see him starting for the Panthers again. I would almost bet you will see Baker behind center before you will see Sam.

Indifferent at this point. Would not surprise me one way or the other no matter who's selected. I'm sure they will pass on someone we could drastically us somewhere on this team. Could use help nearly everywhere. Except long snapper. I'm prepared to be disappointed when they pass on Icky if he is there at 6. If they pick a qb at 6 I'm prepared to laugh my ever lovin ass off. Watching the Huddle explode will be glorious. Then I settle back down to Indifference until this team shows us something to be proud of.
