    Injuries can derail a season for the best of teams. If you are a mediocre to bad team even a few injuries will kill you.

    It really depends on the rest of the team from there. A top 5 defense and a good running game will usually get you over the top. Coaching will also play a large role.

    I would prefer to build through the draft rather than FA or trades. Especially considering the lack of overall talent the Panthers currently have on the team. They still have a few successful drafts to go before they are a threat to anyone.

    Everyone is playing for something this time of year. You are either playing for a playoff spot, trying to save your job or just trying to put out good tape to help get another job. Not one single professional player or coach is trying for or worrying about draft position.

    Did Gerald McCoy just predict the Young and Murray would combine for 734 yards in this game? I cannot believe I just heard that. Murray must be going over 500 if that happens.

    This will get ugly if they cannot run the ball. I foresee another high turnover game.

    The best game today was N. Dakota State and S. Dakota State. NDS has a wr that I think could be an nfl player and I'm curious to see if he can make an nfl team. Their qb is not bad either.

    All this means is that he gets the last 3 games to show he's worth another year here. As for what the alternative is, I cannot see one available in FA or the coming draft that will be any better. I see next season as another 3 to 4 win season no matter what scrub they replace him with. The future looks dark for the Panthers.

    Who? Not a chance. The only shot at a win was last Sunday and they failed miserably. Before the season Vegas set our win total at 4.5 for the season. I hope you took the under.

    Just run the ball. Passing in this game will only result in incompletions. Let Chubba pad his stats and take the L like the crappy team they are.

    Terrible coaching hires and an owner who wants to run the day to day operations of the team. That's how this team has operated since its inception. It got worse when jeans Friday was exposed.

    I don't even care. The defense is so bad it doesn't matter what they run now because they will have to build something from scratch. Nows the time to build out the defense in whatever way they want because there's little to nothing to build on. So fire, don't fire, 3-4, 4-3, just do something.
