What if Rhule hires NFL Coordinators and positions coaches?
Jon Snow replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
No. He's terrible at in hame adjustments and game management. Better coordinators will not fix that. -
I was with you until you said Cam Erving as a backup. Cam Erving should not be on this team next season.
-
I'd prefer the kid from Alabama.

Jon Snow replied to musicman's topic in Carolina Panthers
This^ Besides, why would you want to expose him to anymore abuse just for your entertainment? If you feel anything for the guy at all let him go out with dignity. -

WTF? Who the hell is going to sign PJ except Rhule? Insanity I tell you.
-
I would take him in a heartbeat. Honestly, they need to take multiple qbs any chance the get just like oline.
-
Until they get some young arms in the stable it is pointless to expect a positive outcome.

I agree. But there is a shortage of certified mechanics right now. A serious shortage. There is no limit to the YouTube mechanics. My concern is the we don't have anyone in charge that can tell the difference.

There were 3 to 4 last draft but early returns are sketchy at best. You can't predict how these guys are going to handle the NFL. But you have to take a shot when you desperately need one like we do. Hell we need at least 2 right now and will need to keep adding them until you find one that sticks. Were it me I would take the best available QB or LT ( BC may be but hedge your bet), we need both. If not try to move down for more picks and go oline and LB early and often, need both as well. Next draft would be the same, go offensive line and QB, LB and whatever after that. Hell I would start looking for the best kicker as well. This team has no shortage of needs.

I wish I knew the "process" to build this team. Just going off observation it appeared to be build the defense first and then the offense. Then came this win now bs when it appeared they hadn't even completed building the defense let alone starting on the offense. They seemed to be all over the map in building this thing. Are we still building the defense or is it there? Was the plan to take 2 seasons to build the defense and then 2 more to build the offense and then go all in? That's what looked like until they started that win now bs. Now it's... we'll I don't know what it is.

They do that only for a qb. But folks talk about moving to a certain slot like all they have to do is ask and the other team must swap. I think it's cute. Everyone tries to predict how a draft falls and the picks rank and yada yada but like Mel Kipper they don't know sh#t. The only thing you can predict is the fans are gonna bitch about every pick.

The sad truth is that it's also easier to build a fanbase when the wins starts. Face it the majority of fans come and go with the wind. Diehard fans (the base) stick around no matter how bad it gets. The fans that hang around for one player will always be there until that player leaves. Those are truths every team deals with. The fans are never a factor in team decisions, at least by smart teams. The reason being is that until the owner figures out how to build a consistently competitive team he will never build the Diehard base who fill his pockets with the real money from merchandising. And everyone knows cash is king.

I watch for the laughs and the opportunity to say, When they make the inevitable turnover. You should try it, it's liberating.
