  1. What happened to the longsnapper they drafted? How many games are left?
  2. There is no way this team wins another game. Both teams we face have an incentive to play to win. This team cannot beat the Hill lead Saints and the Bucs are trying for the number 1 seed. Unless they have that locked down by our second meeting we have not shot. So there that.
  3. They did for a while. But we have not been much more successful than them overall honestly. We have mostly avoided the expansion team blues since inception in that we have hovered around average so far. But this team has a lot of building to do before we see a regularly competitive team. As a long time football watcher like yourself we have seen a lot a crap thrown at the wall with these teams trying to build a successful franchise. The vast majority of the team's outside the playoff regulars cannot maintain any success beyond one playoff appearance evey few years. Sound familiar? I think the biggest issue our team has faced, and probably most bottom half teams do, is the lack of depth to weather the war of attrition with injuries. Not having adequate depth is a season killer for a lot of teams as injuries pill up. We have just sucked at building depth at crucial positions. In the past when we stayed relatively injury free we tend to have a good season. When not..well you see season's like this one. Although this season was aided by not having adequate starters at crucial positions so the injuries there did not matter because they sucked anyway.
  4. Of course there will be a reason to watch. You watch to see how bad it gets before it's all blown up and the rebuild actually starts. Not some rebuild/win now bullsh#t.
  5. Well if Rhules goal was to create adversity it appears he has achieved that goal successfully. Now that he's checked that box what's next? Rebuild again? Because he sure as hell doesn't have anything else established besides adversity.
  6. That is true but you are leaving out the fact that that team had the advantage of picking/drafting/signing players that other teams save Jacksonville could not. Jacksonville who had the same advantage was also in the playoffs in their second season. It's not the same comparison.
  7. Scott works for Rhule. Rhule has full control. The only thing we know about Scott is that he will throw draft positions around like darts. Those things have been established.
  8. It wouldn't surprise me if he did. I'm trying to figure out which of the two is in over their head more. It looks to be a draw at the moment.
  9. This^ Until Tepper gets some in there that knows wtf they are doing running things it probably will not matter in the end.
  10. This^ If it's not one of these 2 you're doing it wrong.
  11. If there is some unknown plan by Tepper to stay the course I would hope that Rhule would have to accept experienced NFL staff, OC at minimum. That would be the only reason for me to watch another season of that circus.
  12. This team is more than a competent coaching staff away from being regular playoff attendees. Fans need to accept that.
  13. I just can't imagine Tepper doubling down on Rhule after this season. If he's not convinced he made a mistake after this abomination I fear this is just the beginning of a spiral into darkness the likes of which we haven't seen...ever.
  14. Odds are your are right. The future is bleak in panthersland.
  15. Longer than you think. Folks are over estimating the talent on this team. The offense has to be completely overhauled and the defense needs more talent on the front seven. Special teams is ass also. So knowing that you tell me.
  16. I'm in favor of giving him more targets.
