I would rather this team leave and hope for an expansion team 5-10 years from now than suffer through another decade plus of Tepper’s ownership. There’s just very little chance this ever works other than maybe a very occasional one off season here and there.

There’s going to be a lot of 2 and 3 yard passes and hope that someone else can make a play. He’s not and never will be a game changer. He can have this year because there’s not really a choice but it’s time to start looking elsewhere. Related question - given how Fitterer might have been one of the worst GMs in football history, why would anyone think the Young pick is an exception to his consistently awful talent evaluation? Young bring terrible is far more representative of Fitterer than if he somehow turned out to be good.

Outside of Rae Carruth, Fitterer should go down as the biggest clown in franchise history.

This is probably the least excited I’ve ever been about an upcoming season. My fan apathy is at an all time high. Even the rumors of moving, which once would have been worrisome, mean next to nothing. Tepper took something I loved and absolutely ruined it in 6 years.

Our new coach has already publicly said that Bryce is basically a game manager at best with the 1 of 11 stuff. The writing is already on the wall.

The ceiling for this team feels like a 2020 type season where they play tough competitive games and still lose most of them. Thats 5-6 wins. If Bryce is as bad as last year they’re back to a 2 win type team.
