Tre Boston says Panthers may be adding another S
MHS831 replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
Sorry. He is now promoting a new product he invented-- something he developed to compete with the iPhone. He calls it, the "ear" phone. He stated, "A phone for your eye? That is just dumb." Details forthcoming. -
I do too--the most upside. He is the only QB in the draft with star potential, imo, but he has high bust potential as well. He is a year away from taking a snap. Still, there is something there. I think Fitterer is trying to tell us that there is not going to be a rookie QB drafted this year. Just the way I read the last Gantt write up

If we think BC can handle LT--I am willing to pencil BC in at LT and go with it. SIgn C Bozeman. Move D. Brown to LG and maybe allow for him to compete with Jordan. Maybe the new OL coach can make them better. I like the trade for Minshew idea--send our fourth rounder to Philly for him. Reminds me of the Jake Delhomme-type QB.

Unless they decided to bring Chinn up to LB--Thomas Davis style. dunno, but I had the same thought. -

Hats off, my man. Hilarious. -
That is what I was hoping for---we shall see

We have Elflein there now---and after watching him get bull rushed into the QB from the G spot, he is not the answer--a good backup LG/C, but if he is on the field, the offensive coordinators are aware.
-
I think Tretter is 31, but he is a more established C. At 31, a center has 5 good years left. Bozeman was a G for a while but settled into his more natural position.
-
Bozeman is a C who is excellent as a run blocker and a pass blocker. He is 27, so you can offer him a longer deal (3-4 years). To have Bozeman, Corbett, and Moton on one side of the ball, you would have the right side of the LOS locked down for the next 3 years. Furthermore, you would be (perhaps) one player away from a dominant OL, depending on what you decide to do with Brady Christensen and how well he plays there. https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/bradley-bozeman/27934

Three top 10 QB's refused to play for Matt Rhule.
MHS831 replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think they did that to Fox before his final year. That was the year we drafted Clausen, B. Lafell, A. Edwards. Yikes. That was Marty Hurney free styling. -
Carolina quietly cleared more cap with RA
MHS831 replied to Actionman0z's topic in Carolina Panthers
I would like to add this about RA: The WRs were frustrated in 2021. You could see it in the lapses in concentration on the part of Anderson, Moore not running off the Safety properly, allowing for the S to pick off underneath passes. This tells me that they quit. And they carry some of the blame for Darnold's (and Cam's) completion percentages and interception ratios. Are they fair weather players? We shall see, but Anderson did have 1000 yards in 2020, so let's see what he can do with a better OL, I suppose. -

Three bottom 10 QBs refused to play for Matt Rhule too: Cam Newton, Teddy Bridgewater, and Sam Darnold. Be here all week. I am starting to think this is a case of Tepper being too stubborn to admit Rhule was a mistake. -
If we sign a G and a C, it means Christensen is the LT and we are drafting Willis. If we sign a LT, it means Christensen will be the LG and probably Elf will play C. So watch what we do in free agency---it will tell you who we are drafting.
-
sign Bozeman, draft a LT if available. Play the rookie LT, Christensen at LG, Bozeman at C, Corbett at RG, and Moton at RT. Elf is the backup C/LG BChristensen is the backup LT D. Brown is the backup RG Draft in round 5 the backup RT

Bozeman is where my first signing goes. Does that mean BC to LT and Elf to LG?

And he uses a toilet brush instead of QTips. Damn him

Cobb is not a football prognosticator any longer. He now uses mental telepathy to connect with heifers to see if they are pregnant so that farmers can predict the herd sizes. It is a gift.

especially if Zod is upwind.

I hope the sex offending son of a bitch gets suspended for a year

I think Packers is short for meat packers. Just leaving that one there...

Nothing new

I had no idea what I was doing. Luck of the Irish?

As intended. I am out of pie, fire, and beer---and I thought the eggplant and poo were inappropriate, considering the circumstances.!!! We appreciate you.
