The fact that Brycen Tremayne is 3rd in receiving yards on this team and he didn’t even have a catch yesterday is a little concerning.

Not to sounds cliche but the key is going to be to run the ball which is their weakness, hold on to the football, and stop Breece Hall. If we do that everything else should fall into place. We just can’t afford to do anything stupid or get too fancy.. like lateraling the fuging ball at midfield.

They need to take this seriously and just focus on running the ball and stopping Breece Hall. Wilks run D is total ass. Broncos would have blown them out if Payton wasn’t so pass happy today.

He’s Deshaun Foster-ish

As much as I like Hubbard, he has never cracked the Top 15. Dowdle has cracked the Top 6 in back to back weeks.

As of right now he is also 3rd in rushing yards

Which is weird because he was a pretty good coordinator for Indy

I think we have allowed like 60 rush yards in the last two games combined. The Jets had 82 yards of total offense today

Hunter Renfrow is Ricky Proehl. Not lighting up the stats sheet but always around at the right time.

Everything on defense changed when Rozeboom and Wallace switched spots. Idk if Rozeboom is deaf and can’t hear the call or Wallace is football smart. Either way, I think something happened there.

The way PFF does their grades gives you a general idea on a player but it doesn’t tell the whole story. If somebody is consistently in the 50s or so they suck. If there is a one-off high or low it can be easily skewed.

I wonder how much of it had to do with the hiring of Eric Eager as VP of Analytics. He came in May 2024 after Free Agency and the Draft but was a part of the last draft and Free Agency. For those that don’t remember, Eager was a Senior Data Analyst and VP of Research and Development at PFF. After that he was a VP with SumerSports where he had a big hand in creating NFL AI focused around roster optimization.

Not sure but the last few weeks they have been doing what Rhule and Snow used to do. Rhule ran a 3-3-5 but would show different fronts: 3-4, 4-4, 4-3, 4-2 Big Nickel, etc. It looks like they have been showing 4-4 and 4-2BN packages since Atlanta. Wash ran a 3-4/4-3 hybrid when he was the with Jags, so imagine he’s doing something similar on the front 7.

I don’t know that it will be a rookie. Every year there are normally 1-2 above average vets on the market in FA. I think everyone has rookie fatigue with Bryce the last few years and Canales and Morgan will need results quickly. Wouldn’t be surprised if they went that route. Somebody like how Darnold has been the last few seasons. Now who that will be this year remains to be seen.
