I’m not agreeing with op but going as far as he’s done etc I’m not going that far, team was trash, team has been trash under Rhule. bridgewater before his injury was playing well compared to here last year Sam posted arguable his worst season as a nfl starter the 0-13 stat gets thrown out a lot around here with no context, in 7-9 of those games Newton posted good numbers. Point is the focus is on Newton not being adequate instead of the team in general isn’t adequate, fix the team then we can worry about getting a qb, Sam,cam, Teddy etc haven’t been put in a position to succeed and it’s evident

Yeah but there’s clear evidence neither of the 4 qbs have had success under Rhule, you don’t need an all time coach but one that understand basics of the nfl is a start I don’t see any all time coaches subbing out there qb multiple times during a game

Valid points op but if this is the mindset of tepper we are doomed, the new Cleveland browns in no shape or form should we waste a season away just to provide a new coach with a better start point. when us as poster are becoming in unison yet the higher ups can’t see it, it’s all time bad, there’s not one single positive anyone can pull from Rhule’s first two seasons here

The reason people pile on Sam are simple, he showed nothing to warrant giving up draft picks for and then we prematurely pick up his 5th year option and since then he’s played worst than any of his previous years with the jets, mostly because of circumstances here. the guy off the street that has performed better, he’s done and won’t have a job next year according to some posters, doesn’t add up

As bad as Sam has been at times I doubt he’s throwing shots purposely, I don’t like sam’s play, but the person doesn’t strike me as that type of guy. sounds like word vomit, two things can be true, he shouldn’t bring up anyone else but himself and he probably mentioned cam’s name without knowing how it appeared
