  1. It's compounded by the fact we traded one of the NFL's best offensive players for draft picks then drafted clear busts immediately
  2. Hurney at least hit on 1st round picks. Fitt could draft his way out of a paper bag. I would take Hurney back as our GM if it meant getting those 1st round picks right again.
  3. Don’t forget that Tepper thought Steichen was a terrible interview yet he has this bad Colts team at 4-5 on their backup QB
  4. Bryce isn’t good. But this isn’t a Bryce problem. The scheme is really bad. Receivers not only aren’t getting open, but the routes are bad. And the interior line is horrendous. Players are constantly confused. I have to imagine it’s incredibly easy for opposing defenses to game plan for this offense. That isn’t on Bryce.
  5. Obviously if we could go back we trade Burns instead of Moore. That was unthinkable at the time though.
  6. No but I think the pressure is off now, the guys can play looser and relaxed Offensive line is abysmal, I've never seen a LT get beat so bad. They have to fix something there. Ickey was good last year, makes no sesne
  7. Why the fug did Eddy want the ball on the hashmark like that?
  8. How was that not a hold on Corbett? That was more egregious than Bozeman's Our line cannot keep their man in front of them
  9. I'm convinced that the O-Line and Ikem's play is due to the schemes, not to the talent. Reich is exactly the type of person to be stubborn and force sqaure pegs in round holes
  10. Bryce is going to have to start running in order to let this offense be less predictable
  11. At the same time Chark was jogging down the field man
  12. The dude wanted to be our head coach and Tepper didn't "vibe" with him lol
  13. Really not sure why they punted, there is zero chance we stop any run before 4 yards
  14. Puka must be on pace to break Jerry Rice, he's nearing 1000 already
  15. CJ is a hell of a leader of men. Bryce will be fine, but man the Texans are set with CJ.
  16. They should have known TMJ was really bad and Mingo not ready (well looking like a straight bust at this point). Count that as another mail in the coffin for Fitterer, who said we were fine at WR.
  17. Can you list a QB that would take the situation in Carolina and make them a playoff team? I know for sure Burrow, Hurts, Herbert, Tua, Lawrence, Goff, Cousins, Dak, and Jackson would be 1-5 or worse. I'd have Mahomes and Allen at 3-3. Point is, they all have way better defenses and weapons than Carolina. There's not a single QB in today's game that can thrive without weapons or a defense... Mahomes and Allen are the closest, but they definitely wouldn't be contenders with the shitty defense we have. Hurts and Purdy have superstar casts. That wins championships.
  18. While I want to attribute it to finally losing Sanders and Cade Mays playing out of his mind, there definitely is an offensive philosophy shift. Look how fast Bryce is playing! This is what he is! A rhythm, creative QB! Let him cook!
  19. Notice how Bryce is playing in tempo, and they aren't using the full play clock?
  20. I'm glad we are showing some fight. Miami is the type of team that will put up 35 points in the 2nd half so I'm not going to get my hopes up, but at least we look different today.
  21. Tua's got such a cool name. It's so fun to say.
  22. I've been calling for Reich's firing since week 2. The offense is horrendous, and a huge step back from Ben McAdoo of all people (and Joe Brady). It's unfair to pen such a predictable, ancient offense on Bryce and the players. "But Andy Dalton" that was in spite of Seattle's putrid defense and also playing prevent in the 4th
