  1. If the Colts offer next year's 1st to move from 4 to 1, plus 2nd rounder or so, I think it would hard to say no, even if the Panthers were to end up with Stroud instead of Young and Levis I'm just speculating, but I think Houston decided to take Levis at 2 and the Colts are weighing options, because their owner is in deeply love with Will
  2. The Colts are dying to take Levis and are panicking, that's why. Maybe Carolina is threatening Houston with a trade with the Colts, idk.
  3. I think Levis and Young is the clear top tier, then Stroud, then Richardson. Teams are panicking last minute, particularly the Colts who very much wanted to take Levis at 4. Don't you just love the draft season!
  4. Levis is reportedly doing very well lately with work ethic, football knowledge, and scored high on the S2 processing test. He's a lock to go in the top 4 now, with Houston seriously considering him at 2. I don't think he goes #1 though, Charlie Campbell has connections inside the draft room and its been Young all along. Maybe Carolina is baiting Houston into trading up to 1 and threatening that the Colts are also wanting to trade to 1
  5. At this point it would take the 12th pick + to consider trading the 1 to the Texans
  6. I trust the draft insiders, who say that no team in the top 10 likes Richardson, and that Detroit, Seattle, and Atlanta want to wait a year before thinking QB and want to take the defensive help this draft offers. The Titans want a QB, the Colts love Levis, and the Texans are not a fan of anyone but Young, but it's possible they could take Levis 2 and Stroud would then go 4, and the Titans would then pass on QB this year. Remember, no one would have believed that Malik would fall out of the top 60 last year, or Howell/Corral/Ridder that late in the draft either. Richardson is viewed as a pure athlete that needs years of seasoning, kind of like how Malik was the same thing a year earlier (Richardson is a better prospect of course though)
  7. I think Richardson falls all the way to the end of the first, with Houston trading back into the first to get him in the late 20's Levis to the Colts Titans get Stroud in the 9-11 range
  8. He didn't say that the 18% wasn't accurate....if anything he just damned CJ even more, because that 18% score came when he was tired, hungry, didn't want to do it, late at night, a bunch of other excuses. How will CJ be able to process information during the 4th quarter of a night game? I don't know, but it still seems very bad for CJ. This coming from a CJ fan and would have been happy if he was the pick. Also what is "significantly higher the second time" from 18%? I mean 52% is significantly higher.
  9. They gave Buck and Aikman 30 million a year combined and now I imagine will cut a lot of lower level employees making less than 200,000 to make up for it
  10. Mayfield doesn't have the intelligence, processing, or work ethic of Young. Young will only fail if he gets constantly injured. If he stays healthy all year, he's already the best quarterback we've had since 2017, even as a rookie
  11. It's the S2 test (processing) along with the ability to make good decisions and ability throw the football. Bryce makes good decisions and can make all the throws. I'm sure there are average people walking around that can achieve 99% scores on this test, but they aren't NFL QB's. Levis can be a great QB if he limits the bad decisions. He actually might go 4th ahead of Stroud, that's what the insiders are thinking.
  12. On Russilo's podcast yesterday, DJ and McShay say they are hearing Levis at 4 even if Stroud is there, which is bizarre. They are also saying they don't know any of the teams that wants to spend the pick in the top 11 on Richardson, and that if he doesn't go 12 to Houston (Houston is leaning towards Tyree or Anderson at 2), they don't know where Richardson can go, maybe all the way to the end of the first and a team trading back into the first to take him
  13. ???????????????????????????????????? They talk about upping the fines, ejections, suspensions every year. For hitting a QB in the head, in his legs, or even just driving him into the ground. This was not the case 10 years ago.
  14. You say "because of his size", but Cam was 6'5 260 and only lasted 8 years, so what's your point
  15. Size isn't an issue. It's whether or not he learns how not to get hit, like Drew Brees and Tom Brady. And the NFL is increasingly making it harder to hit the QB every year.
  16. He plays similar to Mahomes and Rodgers, but he gets the Wilson/Brees label because of his size.
  17. I wonder if Charlie's source inside the org is gone, last 5 years he's locked down the Panthers pick around this time but his mock today he says he's still unsure what they are doing. He was the only national draft analyst to say that Panthers were going Jaycee Horn unless Sewell was still there, and that they removed Slater and Fields off their board. Regardless it appears he's going with Young who seems to be the pick with all the hoopla and betting action today, unless we are all getting fooled.
  18. The team probably thinks Bryce is worth the gamble, and I agree. Maybe Bryce and his team have convinced the Panthers that they have been working on his body and ability to avoid hits. Again I don't care about his size, just about him avoiding hits. If healthy he is definitely better than Tua, and healthy Tua was a beast this year. A part of me still thinks this is a giant game by the Panthers to extort the Texans into giving pick 33 or the Cleveland first next year. I still think the Panthers are in good shape with either QB, but Stroud would not fair well with the Texans because they have no offensive development experience, so they'd rather pass on QB if they can't get Young.
  19. damn westgate in las vegas was Bryce +350 just two weeks ago when I was there, I should have jumped on that
  20. Just load him up on some HGH and accept the 8 game suspension (Dalton time) and then you are ready to roll
  21. I still think this is a giant smokescreen and we are trying to make the Texans panic into give us 32 and 2 for 1, and that we like both Stroud and Young equally
  22. Shows he’s prepared and dedicated. Not sure why you wouldn’t want that in an QB.
  23. Every other league is fine. NBA is a 2.5 weeks after the finals. NHL 1 week. MLB during the season. NFL isn't some special league that needs so much time to evaluate, the scouts are working all year long.
  24. There's too much time between the end of the CFP, the superbowl, free agency and the draft. The draft should have been this weekend. No excuse to still be 20 days away.
  25. Yes, its my opinion. If you constantly take big hits and get driven to the ground by a defensive player, it naturally means less durability. Andrew Luck, same thing. Kyler Murray, same thing. Really the only QB that Young plays like that has been very durable is Russell Wilson. So there is precedence that Young can overcome the big hits and being pile driven into the ground. I'm aware that he hasn't had durability issues so far. I'm also not making this into a Stroud vs. Young debate, as I like both QB's and would be thrilled with either one.
