  1. Seattle is the best team in that division, someone is going to win a lot if they bet that before the season 49ers have a lot of holes, I think those picks will be good this year
  2. I think we will still be very bad the rest of the way, but this was much needed. Therapeutic.
  3. Beautiful route and catch by Tremble, saw it developing
  4. San Fran already had one of the best run games, I'm not sure this makes them that much better. I think they will finish around 8-9 or 9-8. They have a tough schedule and a lot of holes. Still hurts to see him in another uniform, but it's good that we did him right
  5. Stroud reminds me of Jason Campbell I'd go for Young if I had to choose today Maybe that will change since the NFL draft is a ridiculous 6 months away
  6. Everyone here should rather the team take gambles to be great than go with the status quo. Rhule, Darnold and Mayfield were risky gambles that failed. Sometimes gambles fail. San Fran gave up 2 firsts for Lance and that is looking like a fail. Some of the same posters here bashing Tepper/Fitt wanted to trade up for Lance or take Fields. Fail. Meanwhile teams like the Lions are comfortable just going with the status quo. I'd rather be the Tepper/Fitt Panthers than the Lions
  7. Tell that to San Antonio Spurs, Golden State Warriors, Philadelphia 76ers We literally tanked in 2010 and got Cam and were in the playoffs with 12-4 record a few years later
  8. If this trade happened just 6 weeks ago, everyone would be saying this a great trade
  9. I'm excited to have the #1 pick and a franchise QB finally. Just got to trust they keep finding gems in the 2nd day like Chinn and Christensen
  10. We also can't root for him or the Niners because we now need them to lose most of their games. Maybe Jimmy G gets hurt
  11. Terrible trade. Only make sense if he wanted out.
  12. Against popular opinion, I would be thrilled with Young. Yes, he is small, but he's got incredible poise and decision making, not afraid to take the hit in order to get the home run pass, and he's a hell of a leader. I think he could end up being better than Russell Wilson.
  13. Can't they just kick the Commanders out of the NFL and have an expansion team in Washington
  14. The SEC has at least 3 quarterbacks better than any we have right now
  15. How hard is it to get a QB in here that can throw downfield? Like surely some of these college guys who went undrafted but put up crazy stats can throw the damn ball down field. At this point the Panthers should be bad, but exciting. Not bad and also horrendously boring
  16. Robbie is a very replaceable player. Frankly DJ Moore is too if we can get good value for him.
  17. Good on Tepper for having the insight to tank this year and go into next year with completely new staff, Stroud, and a decent defense
  18. I've never liked DJ Moore's body language. If we need to trade anyone, its the WRs. Burns and CMC have too much passion and love being here.
  19. NFL makes it so hard to trade, it would take 2 firsts just to lose him and eat the dead cap
  20. *Any* NFL coaching job is attractive. I don't buy for a minute that Carolina has red flags or is unattractive. There's only 32 gigs in the world. There will be lots of highly qualified candidates that want the job
  21. Tepper literally said that yesterday, and he also took accountability and admitted he took a risk on Rhule and lost. Weird take.
  22. Dead cap is a concept that should be scrapped next CBA Everyone loves trades in any sport, but the NFL makes it so hard to trade players Be like the NBA, just require sending out matching salaries or absorb into cap space. NFL makes its salary cap so unnecessarily complicated
  23. Yeah trading CMC isn't worth it for less than a 1st round pick, because of the cap hit And even so, CMC is more valuable as a WR than a late first. We need to treat him like Deebo Samuel on the field, but our coaching has been so inept
  24. I think there's a greater than 50% chance its Mike Tomlin, who'll mutually part ways with the Steelers after going 3-14 this year
  25. You are really reaching. Every team doesn't have everything. And if they do, they lose a lot the next year.
