  1. Oh and it definitely means that one of the upcoming free agent defenseman are going to be on the move imo.
  2. I'm not surprised, they went after him at the trade deadline and don't think Philly was ready to take some of his salary.
  3. That team made the play in game two years ago with Bridges and Lamelo. Now they've got Williams, Miller and nick Smith to add to that. Possibly able to move rozier or Hayward for another piece. No reason they don't make the playoffs as at least the 7th or 8th seed, but should be the 6th if everyone comes back and plays like they can.
  4. No doesn't effect cap but that's what it costs for a top pair defensive player now. 7-10m aav. Slavin is going to want at least 8m aav. 2nd pair is around 5-6m aav and that's what Pesce is going to want.
  5. No his contract is still 8m, San Jose retained 33% of his contract per season left. Add another 2.72 to his salary for carolina and that's his actual pay. https://www.capfriendly.com/teams/sharks
  6. If you look at the last 15 games, his finishing greatly improved. The first ten games, his stats at the rim were awful. He was over 70% over the last part of the season and at 42% counting fast breaks in the first part of the season.
  7. It's really not all that dumb if ya plan on keeping lamelo. Lamelo is already bad at defending and ya gonna put a 6-2 player at sg next to him??? Ehhhhhh.... Plus shot selection / shot iq questions plus shooting questions in general. yea he's athletic but he didn't exactly set the world on fire in the g league. Let's draft the athletes and hope we can get them a jump shot... Usually doesn't work out well in the NBA. With that said if you have Scoot rated higher you take him and hope lamelo learns defense and scoot can play with out the ball the majority of the time. Cause on the Hornets he won't be ball dominant. If he tries to be, it will create problems and he won't see the floor. If they are rated similar than you take Miller because of fit.
  8. Plus what you can get for rozier.
  9. Read what I said again and the stats..
  10. I think scoot ends up as a poor man Russell Westbrook, but a better team mate and team player. Thinking 20-27ppg, 6 rpg, 7 Apg, 2 stl. While Miller ends up being a 20-27 ppg, 7rpg, 4apg, 2 stl, 1blk per game high tier 3 and d guy. I say poor man because he's not quite as good all around as Westbrook was in his prime. Which works if you want to keep Melo? Cause Melo is going to naturally have the ball in his hands 75% of the time.... I kinda want them to draft Scoot because I think it will be a disaster defensively and piss Clifford off so much.
  11. If they took that deal though, they would have to move rozier... which I don't think would be hard.
  12. I would so take that deal. Getting Simons, Miller and someone like Bilal Coulibaly. That'd be nice and set the team up for the future.
  13. If it's zion and not Ingram, gotta get the 14th plus two or three other firsts back. That's how much zion trade value has fallen. Hayward and the 2nd for the 14th, 2025, 2026, and 2027 first rounders and Zion
  14. Hornets want Ingram over Zion, and last I heard was NO wasn't interested in moving Ingram.
  15. I'll add this here, now that Phoenix is getting Beal. They want to trade Ayton, might be able to trade Hayward and Martin for him. (They want role players and such for him)
  16. Daniel Sundheim is who I was talking about and he's the money behind the new group.
  17. Those two already owned part of the team, why they were talked to first and are backed by a billionaire. (Mentioned him when the possible sale first broke news months ago

    Diablo IV

Anyone else playing? I've played probably 140 hours so far. Lol
  19. Right now it would be for Ingram, another player and the 14th for the 2nd and Hayward if Charlotte bit on it. Think that's the only way it happens.
  20. The odds of them taking scoot is really low, most teams like Miller more. The few teams trying to trade up for scoot are really the only ones that have him rated higher. Miller > trade > scoot in order of probability
  21. It was always known that Wilcher thought he was OAD and that if Cadeau reclassified that Wilcher was probably going to leave because of it. :shrugs: nothing really surprising about this at all.
  22. Wilcher thinks he is a OAD player and doesn't want to come off the bench at all. He was expecting to go to UNC and start immediately and have the ability to show he is an OAD player. With RJ coming back and the Cadeau reclassification, he knows he isn't starting and decided to leave because of that.
  23. He's a linebacker now and will play olb in the new 3-4.
