  1. True, but he gets the ball out quick as well.
  2. Packers offense is lighting up the Falcons now.
  3. Note to Falcon's defender, when you put the receiver in a near headlock, they are probably going to call PI.
  4. He might get 300 yards in passing today before the third qtr ends.
  5. I don't think that is a td, but not sure if there is enough evidence to overturn.
  6. Playing for Matt Rhule, he looked terrible. Playing for the Bucs coach, he looks decent to good.
  7. That was a terrible throw by Ridder. He was incredibly lucky.
  8. Its not a crazy stat. Bad teams find ways to lose games. We have been a bad team for a while.
  9. I am interested to see how the young qb handles last weeks loss. And I do think being at home will help him. If the defense repeats last weeks performance, and the offense can limit the turnovers, we have a shot.
  10. But the Raiders are where quarterbacks go to die. At least in the AFC.
  11. So why kick the point after? With 4 minutes left, 12 or 13 points makes little difference, but 14 points means two td's only ties.
  12. Two sacks that took them out of fg range. Missed field goal. Threw an int at midfield. They have a shot to blow it open now, but its been a very sloppy game by both teams.
  13. Can't remember the last time I saw this many fumbles in an NFL game.
  14. I won't mention his name myself, but the guy you have listed as number one was a solid player, but a vile human being.
  15. I thought the defense played fairly well, given all the turnovers. We could be decent to good on the defensive side. But I will say that we will likely play teams with better offenses than Atlanta. In fact, our next opponent probably has a better offense than Atlanta. I am curious to see how they do as the season progresses
  16. Saints had a tough defense last year, and I expect them to be good again this year. Maybe being at home will help compensate a little bit. If we can avoid the turnovers, we have a shot at winning I think. But that is a big if.
  17. I went thru boot camp and had to take a variety of test there, so there were 200 lb men yelling at me for some of them. And the answer to the last question is that they evaluate me on whether I got the answer right or not. The questions might be more difficult as time goes along though. My guess is that Reich will try to keep things simple for BY at first and make it more complex as time goes along, depending on how quickly he comes along.
  18. Nothing I say or do here has any impact, just my opinion. And like I said, I expect him to improve. But this was his first real test, and he didn't do well. I didn't expect him to do well. Fwiw, I don't remember any teacher in school ever taking my situation into account. If I missed the question, they marked it wrong and told me what I needed to work on. Which is what I hope the coaching staff is doing.
  19. I am just looking at performance only, not taking being a rookie into account. He made some mistakes and those mistakes were critical, but I do think he will get better. At least I hope he will. I bet if truth be told, he would probably give himself worse grades than any of us would.
  20. Fwiw, Zach Wilson was better than Josh Allen. For tonight anyway.
  21. My grades QB - D. Made some nice plays at times, but obviously had some work to do. Oline - First half A, second Half C. Run blocking was great, pass blocking in the second half broke down some, although some of that was on the qb. WR's - D, didn't do much. Defense as a whole, B. Their first two drives for scores were 17 yards (td) and 5 yards (fg). When we didn't turn the ball over on our own side of the field, they got zero points for the first 3 quarters. But we knew they were going to run it, and didn't do much to stop the run. Special teams Kicking/coverage was good enough. Punter was fantastic.
  22. I don't know about arm elasticity, but personally I am not worried about his arm strength. The only issue I have seen so far is with accuracy on deep balls on the sidelines. And at this point, it might be more an issue of timing with the receivers than anything else. There was one relatively deep shop to Marshall that Marshall hesitated on for just a second. If he had not of hesitated, the ball might have dropped right into his arms for a big play.
  23. Not sure why you are ranting at me, I just said Fields didn't look great. But regarding Young, things are fairly simple. If he becomes a great Qb, then the moves we made will be worth it. If not, then they won't.
  24. They showed several plays where DJ was wide open and Fields just didn't see him. And Olsen mentioned that Fields was staring down his receivers.
