    He has a better arm, but he misses receivers at the same pace Bryce does, and doesn't see the field much better despite having more time.

    Well, the Giants lead the league in sacks allowed by a significant margin, despite the fact that they are among the bottom five in passing attempts. So while they may "gameplan" around their issues, it ain't working.

    That is the problem with picking a guy from a school like Alabama. You can be slow at Alabama, but your team is so physically superior to most teams they play, that it's not always apparent. I guess we can hope that he eventually makes the adjustment.

    Fwiw, Sanders has played a little better since the second half of the Colts game, especially when you consider how good the Dallas and TN defenses are against the run. Still not worth what we spent on him, but at least its something.

    Given how poorly our first round left tackle performs, I am not sure we would be better off.

    Ickey has to be moved out of left tackle. Maybe we can't do it now because our oline looks like a field hospital, but at this point, he just can't pass block well enough to be a left tackle.

    FSUs QB looked better as the game went on. If they win next week, will be interesting to see what happens with them. And yes, if they win, they deserve to be in over a 1 loss team.

    Nah, it will still be the same teams. What they really need to do is significantly reduce the number of scholarships teams can give so teams like Alabama and Ohio State can't stock up.

    Sure if you like having the same few teams year in, year out, ad nauseum. The college playoffs are so incredibly boring and predictable

    Agreed, its been more than 30 years since a coach (Jimmy Johnson) made a successful transition.

    Their pass defense is not good. They have the fewest number of interceptions in the league, and they don't get a lot of pressure on the passer. Not that we can take advantage of a poor pass defense. Unfortunately, the only part of our offense that is adequate is the run game, and their run d is good.

    Might be more of an issue with a torn ACL that he suffered last year.

    Any player you pick is a gamble. Of course, when you trade picks to move up, its a much bigger gamble.

    We mixed it up pretty well until we got behind by a couple of scores. But I do wish we ran more of a power run like we did last year.

    A better qb than Goff would be very difficult to get. Not saying it can't be done, but it won't be easy.
