App Panther replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
You have to be feeling good if you're a Bears fan today. -
Uh, what FA Oline are left out there?

I always thought he looked like he used meth.

Hopefully he can give the type of production that Ware gave Denver his last couple years.

Sounds like D is winning the day again. Seems like a trend...

Sounds like the Falcons may have just lost Okudah. Carted off with knee injury today. If I remember right he's been hurt a bit since being drafted.

He went to Tennessee. Should be wearing Orange for another 1-2 years.

Bummer. This was always my concern with him. Talent there, or was at least... -

I really hope there's something left. If I remember right hes got some similarities to Bobby Wagner and was a very solid ILB for the falcons. -

What happened to this dude. At one point he looked like he was going to be a Top 5 MLB. -
Send them Miles Sanders and something. Re-unite him with Reich.

Not an ACL, no. Maybe achilles. However if it were anything serious he'd already have surgery scheduled by now.
-
Why didn't they call it Emmitt Run. That's pretty dumb.

Any Peoples sightings so far?

All the talent in the world as a runner, but way too injury prone. It slowed his development. Opportunity is there though, maybe with right strength coach he can turn the corner and stay healthy. Excited to see how he does in camp.

This upsets me. I always knew Armanti had the deck stacked against him here, but I didn't know it was that bad. It was a dream come true when we drafted him, now I wish we never did and he was given a proper chance. I was in Ann Arbor for the Michigan game and had season tickets through his entire collegiate career. He will always be my favorite athlete of all time regardless of his time with the Panthers.

2023 Charlotte Hornets Summer League
App Panther replied to MillionDollarCam's topic in Charlotte Hornets
You're right. If Miller was scoring 25ppg and looking like a star Id reserve judgement because it's Summer League. However, the fact that hes looked like total ass against talent that is mostly a level or two below him is extremely concerning. -

This validates everything I've been saying since before the draft and after. Picking Miller over Scoot will haunt a franchise long familiar with self inflicted wounds. -

You are the guy that wanted Miller over Scoot too, right? Great. -

What will the haters say about Brandon Miller now? I missed the game but looks like another crazy efficient night for Durant Jr. -

To be fair I think Zion's skillset translated a lot easier/quicker to the NBA game versus Wemby. Zion was a man among boys and frankly still is near the basket. It's going to take some time for Wemby to learn how to manipulate the game using his size and handles. He will flash moments of brilliance this year, but ultimately needs to get stronger. He's also with a franchise that understand talent development. If he was a Hornet his ceiling would be Bol Bol. -

By far Millers best game so far on both ends. I think someone must have tried to light a fire under him as he was noticably more assertive. Alot of missed shots but still a lot better than first two games. As for Wemby, he's going to need to bulk up and condition himself. I thought after his initial 6 minutes in the 1st he looked gassed. Both these guys might need 2-3 years on the offensive end before their potential is realized. I would look at Scoot ROY odds for some value if you have some fun money.
