Exactly!! And it blew my mind how much fans had a problem with this anyway. All things considered, goff might be on his way to playing in a superbowl this year and it was well established none of the qbs in this draft were hitting the generational meter. At worst stroud would be a solid starter for any well built team that could get you to the playoffs along with having the quality qb physical traits. Might as well go with that guy to avoid looking about on the trade like you absolutely squandered it and will set you back some time. I just never bryce having the higher ceiling.

This is a great point for everybody clamoring for Brown to take over. He designed the plays, so all the complaining about the screens and shorts passes all goes back to him anyway. All that doesn't make him a savior.

Whats even more embarrassing is that whenever cj stroud praise comes up you got these fans who always want to call out the texans coaching staff first like its all them. When you actually do research you find out that the OC is a first year coordinator and he use to coach defense prior. The main coaches are all rookies in some type of way and are learning on the job like stroud. Still a big contrast to the allstar staff here for our qb. Lol

Then if thats the case then you damn sure better be worried about who will be replacing gm and coach because Bryce will be a absolute topic of discussion with whoever tepper hires next. It will come down to who is willing to hitch their wagon to him and who isnt. The right/best coach may not be willing to unless he can get his own guy soon and the wrong coach would just be doing it for a job which ultimately ends up a waste of time for everybody.

And this is why im not buying all the vitriol for the o line. Have they been good as last year? No...but they have been good enough for an adequate qb to succeed. What do you expect and nfl offensive line to do when they have a qb that dropbacks 15 yards in the pocket right in the lane of rushers and cant step up in the pocket to avoid them because his vision gets clouded downfield then he has to bring the ball down and maneuver which adds up to way to long for a o line to block. Its a recipe for disaster and no O line is gonna look good with a qb doing these things all game. But I guess the people that think they know football will get it one day.
